I see a lot here taking sides which this isn't all about so let me tell you: Every company has it's own unique way for space turism and that's what I love. It's low to see everything as a competition and take sides. I love spaceX, blue origin, virgin galactic, etc and I'm proud of each company's progress

Blue Origin needs to ramp up their pace considerably. The last thing we want is a monopoly of one company in space, even if it's SpaceX. Competition is the key to progress. This comes from a SpaceX fan.

@@nasawormlogo9521 They didn't launch the same capsule and booster 15 times. New Shepards 1-4 have flown all those. The Propulsion Module (PM) for NS 1 was lost when it crashed when attempting landing, but the capsule was recovered safely. It took another 6 months before tail no. 2 booster was ready and it flew the next five flights almost flawlessly, even despite the thrust from the capsule's abort engine hitting it on NS-6. After that, the next seven flights were from the more advanced 3rd vehicle and capsule which added windows to the capsule among other improvements. Now we have tail no. 4 flying and it is fully equipped for human passengers.

@MANNN Yes, actually, one can. Why? Because there are multiple definitions of where 'space' begins. Well, there's really one one and it's between 50 and 62 miles (80.5-99.7 km). Europe (in the form of the FAI) rounded up, and the US rounded down. There's no significant difference in the atmosphere in that 12 mile area. www.nasa.gov/missions/research/X-15_wings.html
