Sometimes the dark rooting is just too much, especially if you were born red headed. Less rooting is better on some of the wigs for some of us. Being new to wigs, that's one of the first things I noticed I didn't care for. I love watching these videos; I have learned so much! Thank you ladies! I love Ellen. Hubby asked me today to find a bob wig!

I'm with you on the rooting. But I've reached the age that my roots should probably be gray.

Thank you for your suggestion about cool brunettes! What are some cool brunettes out there that might help me better visualize the tones you are looking for?
@murielbaith5445 Жыл бұрын
I thought Grace's comment about more stretch with hook adjusters was a valid point. 🤔

@chunggr I love Henry Margu's 626h. Most brunettes I've seen all have an auburn or reddish hue to them which doesn't compliment my skin tone which leans cool to neutral. I live Estetica's R8/26H and would love to see a little more of the 8 in it. If have it on Sky, one of my favorites. I also have Sky in R6/28F. I wish the 28 was a 26, but I wear it anyway and I have Mellow in that color as well.

Hi Ladies! Thank you, I was so flattered by the shout out ❤ I really enjoyed hearing her perspective. I think her paired back style lends to creating natural looking hair styles. Thank you for sharing this conversation.

I know Grace said she doesn't think she has style, but I think there is something very stylish about her simplicity. I agree with you...it's like an artist who can convey beauty through the least number of strokes with a brush, and that's what she brings to her wig designs. Thank you for watching and for your questions!💕

I’m one that doesn’t like permatease, but what she showed was fascinating! I loved her candor while talking about the Velcro adjusters!
@FranniesHair Жыл бұрын
That was one of the most surprising pieces of information to me...that the function of permatease is to hide the wefts. And yes, I know so many people are excited about the velcro adjusters.❤️

❤ Awesome Awesome video you two ❤ I think it's fascinating to hear about the wig process here. I've always wished I could visit a wig manufacturer. Are there stylists cutting each and every wig by hand etc. How they create them so realistically boggles my mind.
@FranniesHair Жыл бұрын
Thank you, Charlotte! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!💕
@chunggr Жыл бұрын
Hi!! The manufacturing process is absolutely fascinating. I've had the privilege of visiting the factories and am in awe of all that goes into creating one wig! Stylists do not cut each wig by hand, but there is a "finishing section" where they may do some final touch ups (trimming pieces that might be too long, etc). It still boggles my mind!
@charlotteknutsen7262 Жыл бұрын
Oh interesting, thanks for that information!

12 is a light enough root for sunlit, but what about a medium golden blond with a root that isn't 4, 6, or8? Can't wait to see the reds!

I like a dark brown, but would like some highlights. I do not like the color Cappuccino, but needs to be a warmer dark brown. What color would you have for me?
@chunggr Жыл бұрын
Hi! What kind of highlights are you looking for? Blonde? Auburn? We have a dark brown subtle auburn highlights that is quite nice...R6/28F. We also have Chocolate Smoke, which is dark brown with fine slate highlights. There is also R8/26H, which is not dark brown, but more medium brown with golden highlights!

I use to wear my hair in the same style as Grace’s hair style. Do they make a wig in this style, low density, petite to average size in a dark brown?

Why is the hair so shiny on Ellen? Is Ellen a machine made wig with permatease?
@FranniesHair Жыл бұрын
Ellen is a synthetic fiber. I find that non heat-friendly synthetics are shinier...especially in blondes. You can use dry shampoo to bring down the shine a bit.
