Stephen Colbert took over as host of The Late Show on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. Colbert is best known for his work as a television host, writer, actor, and producer, and best known for his charity work teaching English as a second language on Tunisian date farms. Prior to joining the CBS family -- and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves -- Colbert helmed “The Colbert Report,” which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one third of the time. Good luck, Bill!"

Tbh, I don't get why modern police forces don't choose war horses for their forces; bred for courage, trainability and stability in a fight. She is like any proud horse owner. There HAS been a vote and he HAS been voted not by her but by people. She clearly loves him and is very proud. He IS beautiful. If my horse was voted the most beautiful horse in the world, I would be as proud as her, and let's be honest, very few of us would decline the financial opportunities she gets. I have a Friesian too, to me the most beautiful horse as well. But I also have ruffled rescue horse Rosie and another mix no one knows what's in him, Hieronymus, and they're both also the most beautiful horses in the world. And I love all three of them.

Had I realized there was a completely reasonable explanation, like promoting a horse on a late night talk show by asking it questions, I probably wouldn't have made such a catastrophic error in judgment. zuckerkipferl I think Colbert was more scared than the horse! He looked a bit nervous bevause the stage is an unfamiliar place - lights, colours, people, etc. But it was just a bit of unfamiliarity. He's used to the crowds as a show horse. If he was really scared, you'd definitely know.

@@moomoo3031Yeah I defintely agree with you, he would have had a lot of trust in his handler/owner. It definitely doesn't look like he loved being there and Im sure he would definitely prefer being at home! Like us, though, sometimes we have to go out of our comfort zones and what we want in order to fulfil a purpose or a job. For him, being a show horse is his job and it earns him his lifestyle. He would be pretty used to crowds and excited atmospheres by now, and he may not always love being out there and would find something like this pretty daunting if it wasn't for his handler/owner, but that's part of the package and I'm sure he gets very spoiled in return! He didn't seem to be in any obvious major distress at least. Horses, unlike many other pets like most cats, rabbits, many dogs (pet dogs not working dogs), etc. are working animals which generally have a job to fulfil in order to earn their keep. If I was your employer and I gave you a safe and comfortable place to live, room service, delicious and healthy food that makes you feel your best, free home doctor visits as soon as you have any pain or physical problem, manicures, hairdressers, pampering, massage, physiotherapists, and a general VIP lifestyle where you could chill out with your mates or do what you want for 23 hours of the day - but had to work hard for 1 hour a day - and that work benefits you and keeps you fit, healthy, and feeling great, putting your health above my own - I'd be the best employer ever! That's the kind of life that a horse like him gets, and in return, he or she fulfills a job whether that be as a sport horse training dressage, showjumping, etc; a show hack; school horse; pleasure trail horse, etc. In exchange for the care we give them, they do a job for us, and it's not a big ask compared to what we humans have to do to survive ;D

Nope that was Rocco Lampone. In the video game that is. In the film they used a real horses head that was given to them by a dog food manufacturer. Coppola supposedly didn't tell the actor who played Jack Woltz that the fake head had been replaced so his reaction would be more natural. Doubt it is true though.
