Careful with the airflow in that aquarium. It is not really suitable type of enclosure for them. Something like big Exo Terra would be much better. They need a bit of an air circulation. So ideally - ventilation on the bottom and on the top of enclosure. They are extremely stressful animals and they can die from the stress of handling. I would definitely put more plants and branches, just so he feels more secure. Don't touch him if not necessary. It is shame that such a gorgeous reptiles are so skittish. Good luck with him they are quite hard to keep. Wish you all the best. Also, have you considered a natural looking background? This animals do well in bioactive or naturalistic vivariums. Live plants helps with humidity too. And you will achieve more natural look. I hope I gave you some tips that may help you :)

Thank you for the help! I am in the process of making a natural bottom for the second half of the back, and I will be putting lots of live plants in the area that is not finished. I will be doing a update video on him in about a week when the tank is complete.

The green ribbon snake sticks it’s tong out when it is agitated and wants to be left alone, the “noodle snake” was a hognose (looked like a southern hognose to me),

irwin is a great boi While my love for frogs and amphibians are *NUMBER ONE* reptiles have always followed after. Especially the smart ones like monitor lizards, and the epic crocodiles and alligators. So Irwin gets much appreciation by me indeed. hope he enjoys his stay with the rest of these lovely froggos and toads! By the way, irwin was drinking to the beat! 11:03

Ok hoppin help I have three American toads Rock Zoomer and Moon Moon is the only male and tries to eat anything that moves he tried to eat my thermometer today and my mom thinks I should let them go but I don't want to let them go if they are domesticated. I got Zoomer and Moon in June and Rock in September. If they are domesticated I would like help on a feeding schedule. Zoomer and Moon are in a ten or fifteen gallon and rock is in the same size cage but separate. I would like to know before it gets cold. I wish they could live in. Your frog garden.

It is normal for toads to try and eat everything, they are just always hungry! Also how long have you had them?

@Hoppin_Help7 жыл бұрын
I would keep Zoomer and Moon inside for sure, but it is up to you for Rock. It would be healthier for Rock to go outside though, and no problem! I also will watch that video :)
