How is he an electrical engineer if he doesn't have a degree?

Pretty sure in the UK you apprentice first then get your degree...

Apprentice in UK you work towards degree level qualifications through work at a reduced rate of pay unt you qualify. Gets you a lot more hands on experience then just going to uni
