Why people love sports - things can change quickly and in unexpected ways. One year ago the Heat are cash strapped with the only thing going being Wade's farewell tour. Hassan was a pain in the arse with a big contract. Winslow looked like an average player, Bam was "just a guy, with potential" and no one in Miami ever heard of Kendrick Nunn or Tyler Herro. Butler to Miami was not even on the radar. Nunn, Herro and Bam now look like they can be All-Star players with development. Amazing. Amazingly unexpected. Winslow is much improved and Butler is a perfect fit. The Heat could have a Championship roster in place, without adding any big FA's. All it might take is time. For Nunn, Herro and Bam to develop. Maybe next year? Or in 2021?

I think it was made clear by Coach Spo that the plan was to start K-Nunn and Goran as 6th man. And it's Herro's spot that will be taken by Jimmy. I think at this point in his career, Kendrick is just laser focused and even keeled, add to that, he has a kid that adds fuel to his drive. But man, that kid is scorer and I think the reason why the Heat signed him up immediately after his G-League stint with the Heat affiliate...his defense. He is averaging 2stls right now meaning he hustles for the ball.
