Great video! You said that the M140i and the M240i are 2 different cars. What's the difference and which one do you prefer?

Basically the same car In the past it was called 1series and 1series Coupe, now marketing calls it 1series and 2series Like 340i and 440i Or S4 and S5 … besides different sheet metal, they are technically identical

M240i just feels way more planted, inspires more confidence at higher speeds as it doesn’t wave around

@@Rickyseniorr wouldn’t say there is such a significant difference. If you retrofit the underbody rear chassis brace to the M140 then M140 and M140 are identical regards chassis. M240 might have just a slight more rear axle weight du to longer boot. Ans also center of gravity might be slightly higher on M140, not by huge margin though

@@stichupman Depends what you want from a car. Stock they are fantastic at being a comfortable mini-GT car, which is what they were designed to be. Much better for daily driving than a Civic R, Golf R, RS3, A45S, etc etc etc

Always interested with these tunes, do they just give the insurance company the list of upgrades? Guessing the premium jumps? Before anyone says….don’t tell them. It’s a big risk on a car cost like an M140, then £15k mods on top. Crash it and insurance check, it’s void, likewise it’ll be void if stolen/ found. Then there’s having these vids in the public domain.
