I like this player, I have one like it. When you put the roll in you don’t put it under the rod in the back. Pull it over the front of the tracker bar and hook it on the bottom spool without pulling it under the bar. And something you may want to fix is at the end of the song, the holes should trigger an automatic rewind. Also these units were equipped with automatic shutoff at the end of the roll. There is a metal tab behind the bottom take up spool that does this. And use a vacuum and clear out the holes in the tracker bar where paper is stuck in. Good luck!😊
