Joseph seems to be a good kid, and raised well - kudos to his mom since obviously she is the one most present in his life. His siblings shouldn't treat him as if he did something wrong. Each one of us don't have a choice how we were brought into this world.

It’s been 25 years and Maria and her children not only don’t speak to Arnold’s son, they go out of their way to humiliate him, even dissing him by ignoring his very existence. This is on Maria, who claims to be a devout Catholic - but how can you claim that and at the same time pebble-by-pebble destroy a young man’s psyche each and every day of his life? Get real, Maria, and practice what your faith preaches - quit punishing the innocent and leave all else to God.

People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. It also says in the Bible to not judge. We are not walking in her shoes. They have four beautiful children together, and they were raised well. But I totally understand her. His actions destroyed the marriage, he was deceitful, he broke the marriage vow. He has tarnished his character. So why get mad at Maria. She didn’t do anything wrong. She’s a very strong woman and I believe she has handled herself well.

It was sad to see them split up…they seemed like such a great couple…but…discovering your husband has a 10 year old love child had to have been a cataclysmic betrayal not only to Maria but to the whole family. That’s actually not true. In the 1980’s my next door neighbour who was only in her 50s told me that she and her sister had to fetch water from a well on their farm in Wales every morning before school. Many properties in the countryside in particular did not have running water in them.
