I feel spiritually paralyzed... I feel I cannot make a decision to take a step towards where I want to be in my career, in my relationships, or where I should be out of the fear of doing the wrong thing. I am sharing this because I need someone to reach out to me in my situation with my daughter who has basically distanced herself and the division is so very heartbreaking to me since she is my only daughter, whom I raised alone. The details are too personal to voice so I am asking that prayers go up and I hope Ms Karen you read this. Each week I listen and then study what you talk about and it has really helped me grow and be encouraged being alone so much of the time and needing help that my family could provide, but I am afraid to ask because asking means getting hurt all over again.

Abby, Psalms tells us, When my mother and father forsake me, the Lord will take me UP. and then over in Isaish Thou will keep him in Perfect Peace-whose mind is stayed on thee(Jesus) He knows of your pain, and deep hurt, and He cares for you. Just go ahead and cast your cares on Him. I have a child that rejected me at 11 years old. There are times that I cry, and am filled with Sorrow, but I Press ON to the prize that is set before me, if I stay in sadness am I showing a witness to others that I am trusting in the Lord? In addition, I think the enemy likes to keep us all messed up, and emotional. So I choose JOY. The joy of the Lord is your Strength. My son is now 32 years of age. I did not see him for 10 years after he left home and rejected our family. When I saw him, I had to pass thru 3 steel doors, and a metal detector. He went to prison at 18 and is still there. God'd Word tells me that when I believe I will be Saved, AND my Household- I am Believing that this child will be in Heaven. I also believe that God knows what to do, so much Better than I do, and I made a decision that I will Trust the Lord with ALL my Heart. Children are "ours" to love, Train, and give back to the Lord- So whatever God needs to do- Well He is God, and we just need to get ourselves in the place to see that He has our VERY BEST in His Hand. I'm so sorry that you are going thru this, I do understand- it is extremely difficult to go thru. Keep reading the Word, Praying and Praising- Praise, Praise, Praise and when you feel the Holy Spirit move you to know, then speak a testimony of your daughter coming home, and y'all being good friends.

I have a very similar situation with my daughter who I raised alone my only child & is now a prodigal who's completely distanced herself for over a year. The best hope I can give is to find specific promises in His word and cling to them & claim them over & over out loud. Use them as a weapon against the enemy. You tell him how this is going to turn out don't let him tell you. I claim Romans 8:28 everyday. Praying for you 💛🌻

It was nice meeting you! Thank you for meeting me at your creek! I would meet you at my creek, but I don't have a way to do video that anyone can see. Someday I will because I know God's plan will work out just as He planned it and it will all be accomplished. I remember this song too: "He didn't teach us to swim to let us drown" is part of the words, but when it feels like I have been abandoned and left to die, I remember that God has invested in me more than I could even tell it all. When I start thinking about all the stuff that comes popping up in my memories that God has done it makes the lies that were making me want to say the wrong things seem very obvious. At that point I either get so excited and praising God of end up balling my eyes out crying and thanking God for all He has done and that I know this is all just a step along the way. It's like the time the disciples thought their boat was going to sink and Jesus was just sleeping away and they asked if He didn't care that they were about to drown. Sometimes God uses the storms to get us where we're going, but if we're living for God's purposes instead of our own, God is working everything out and His Spirit showes us the way and guides us to completion and not just out to sea to die. Like they complained that moses led them out into the wilderness to die, but it was their unbelief and defiled hearts that kept them from entering the promise land. It was their attitudes and their complaints that kept them stuck. The two that believed did enter in and enjoyed the rest of their lives in the promise fulfilled. The word says in this life that God would do what He promised and we are here for a purpose that is bigger than we know or can see. How many things we miss that God did while we were seeing the lies so much more clearly.
