I prayed years for my oldest son (prodigal son). His son, my grandson passed away suddenly in his sleep six years ago at the age of 21. My son’s loss and the grief that followed, was the hardest thing I’ve ever been through. But praise God - through this loss, my son was saved and continues to grow in Christ. God sees what we don’t, He loves when we can’t, He heals when we don’t understand, He cares more than anyone. Thank you Jesus for your continuing, unconditional love.

I have been standing on Isaiah 54:13 for about 10 yrs. for my 4 sons to be restored to God first then to each other. Also my pastor prayed over my grandson Aden for he's been fearful of me dying and his dad who is homeless dying and that he'll be left alone. It was so nice to meet Janet. I so connected with her. I am also a pastor’s wife and teacher. I have followed my husband over the state of AL to five churches over 36 years. God has NEVER failed us. He has been our confidence and strength (Is. 30:15). He has always been with us, met our needs and brought us through every trial that we faced (Is.41:10). I am so thankful I can trust Him with everything that concerns me. We have 5 children, 2 of which are very involved in their churches. We stand on God’s Word for the others to serve Him whole heartedly as well. I pray John 17:17 over them often where Jesus prayed for his disciples, Sanctify them (my children) through Thy truth: Thy Word is truth. You have helped me hunger more for God’s Word, caused me to pray more for my family, and “stand in the gap,” as the older people used to say, for my children. Thank you so much and God bless !
