I am sorry for your loss. I too have had a miscarriage before I had any other children. In all circumstances I have found there is something to give thanks for, as The Word of God tells us. I am so thankful that He blessed to be able to conceive. There are things in this life that we will not understand, but we do have a Savior that is completely trustworthy and will walk every step of the way with you. I got into The Word and let Him lead me through my miscarriage. I trust Him, I shared my tears with Him, and He shared hope with me in exchange. His word also tells me , as a believer, I am not to grieve as the world does. I will be able to meet my child when I go to heaven. I know that he/she is absolutely safe and there are no safer hands to be in, including mine. I pray my words will give you comfort. Please take note, that I had two sons in the years afterwards that The Lord blessed me with also. Had I let the grief and the lies failure engulf me If of never known the joy of being a parent. Also remember that we serve a God who makes a barren womb fruitful. But seek Him in this, submit yourself to Him, resist the devil, and he will flee. If you have trusted in Christ as your Lord, then also trust in His Sovereignty. He will make this work together for thr good in ways that you never would have dreamed. He is the only One who can do this. We are not promised for things to work out the way we think it should either, but all things work out for His glory. Love to you and I'll be praying for you.

The song is beautiful but I can't help my eyes welling up with tears. When I left the US to move overseas, I told my dearest friends who are Christians that if I don't see them in Europe (visiting me) or don't see them again in NY (me visiting them) at least I know I'll see them again in heaven. Little did I know about one year later my dear friend died from cancer...only 2 weeks before my visit back home. So I sing this song & think of her & pray I'll still get to see my other friends, but we have this comfort that we'll have eternity together.
