I love the Marquis of Bath! The world needs more nobles like him! He keeps it real and is a true artist! Love him! Long Live Lord Bath!

My late husband was a Yorkshire man, his family came to America after the war. They are wonderful! Eccentric, individualistic, intelligent, talented men and women. I live the Brits, they are authentically themselves, they don't think it unusual.

In my student days, I had the pleasure of visiting Longleat with fellow members of the Oxford University Society of Bibliophiles, 4th June 1970, for the purpose of examining the library on the top floor. We were led up the backstairs where, on the wall, were framed photographs of nudist gatherings. I remember also that there were a number of children's toys and, if memory serve, a red postal pillar in the library. Charming. Delightful outing. A very fond memory.

I love the Marquis as well, and have a male Lab just like his girl. We are kindred spirits. Thank you for making this wonderful record available.

There seems to be a real humility compared to so much “nobility”. The family are so much more down to earth. Emma certainly is a breath of fresh air. The care for animals in this family shows a lot

He truly was a very interesting person. The new lord should watch out for those final words...His murals must remain as he wished

I adore this man! I think a clothing line could set a much needed change in adult fashion.

Where does he get his clothes from...? Anyone ?

He is rich enough to have clothes made for him and some of these old titled fools seem to wear these outlandish colours. I am British and seeing some of the hideous clothes Princess Anne wears and this Marquess there has to be upmarket clothing companies making these ugly clothes for the over 70s titled lot. 🤣🤣

It seems like we are getting dumber. I can't build a tree house let alone a mansion 500 years ago at that. Most of us only know how to read, write, speak one language, do simple math and maybe one skill like plumbing, electrical work or drive. What happen to our skills?

I think this is not true. People are capable of so much, but the devastating low-paid live-to-work system and grind that the vast majority live in unfortunatey crushes most into very narrow options for change / improvement / variety. This of course does not apply to the very wealthy however, who are an extremely lucky minority.
