This is so sweet. I agree that spending time alone doing your own thing is important. Especially the chord cutting. My beloved and I have been together 5.5 years and we still do chord cutting and try to give each other space . If there is a disagreement or an argument cutting chords and having space is a great way to get to the root of the issue. My beloved calls it marriage and divorce. In our relationship we always have a marriage of our energies and a divorce of our energy. In that time when we disconnect energetically we can recalibrate ourselves to our core and to the divine. Onyx Marigold yeah i agree, but i think that is not to much needed in early beginning of relationship like 1,2,3 months because you have to known each others for start,then you need that time for that, but after some time is very much necessary,its needed, and especially couples with little kids to have time just for yourself is the big must, and its very healthy in bout cases.Sorry for my English haaah

daria suttons i think it's healthy even in the early stages. As Krystal was saying it helps retain a sense of self outside the partnership, to have time apart. As well, when the first disagreement comes up or argument and the couple is already used to having time apart and energetically disconnecting, it will be easier to do so and resolve things. It's healthy to have a certain level of detachment even in a romantic relationship. My beloved and I practiced chord cutting and separating our energies even in the first week together. It's important not to forget our own self in the creation of the union. Plus when we have a healthy disconnect ever now and then, the coming together again is even sweeter. 😉

So many people might comment on how lucky they are to have each other or how lucky one of them is to have the other and I kind of agree with that sentiment but I want to make a slightly different comment. The DOG is very lucky. This is true for both animals and children. When their parents or caretakers love each other and are in an affectionate and healthy relationship it is good for the being under their care (the dog in this case but it could apply to others). That dog will be nurtured by the positive energy of their relationship and will be much happier than a dog being taken care of by 2 people in an unhappy and dysfunctional or abusive relationship. The dog looked very relaxed to me and in a good way.
