Really neat! Saw your Snapchat in the discover thing. Videos are interesting, I like seeing the structures they live in! The music was a little distracting but keep the videos coming!

It’s really adorable how the ants gently and lovingly touch the eggs with their antennae. Your observation of a worker any laying eggs is also very fascinating!

An Absolutely beautiful colony! I'm so jealous!
@stijncroon92873 жыл бұрын
a lot of ant species have workers that lay unfurtelized eggs to feed to the queen they´re really high in protein and the queen loves them
@UrbanOrganisms3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, the interesting thing here though is that I didn’t see them being fed to the queen, and it’s possible that the workers laying eggs here could actually be fertilized.

This is a great Video.. Music is kinda of distracting. However awesome species. I have been wanting to raise some of these. They are amazing and would be super kewl watch and study. There is not a whole lot of information on them that I have found so I am happy that I have found your channel.

Thank you! Yeah the music came out a bit louder than expected on this one, will be sure to fix that in the future. I'm by no means an expert on this species but if there are any specific questions you have let me know.
