Hi, All of this Christian stuff is confusing, I started to believe in Jesus um maybe 7 months ago but now I'm not sure of any religion , I guess Judaism , is like my comfort zone. Since I'm most familiar with that. Both of my parents r Jewish, growing up my dad was and still is a Cantor in a Reform Temple. I love my dad but , I can't say anymore on here. My step dad is Christian and I talk to him a lot , but he doesn't go to church anymore , he went to catholic schools and churches when he was younger though. My Mom had a Rabbi from Jews for Judaism come to our house to talk to my little sister and I. I'm 23 and my sister is 19. My sister is also thinking about Jesus. After meeting and talking for a very long time with the Rabbi My sister and I started doubting a whole lot. It's also really difficult to see and experience how so many peeps hate one another too. That's very disheartening. Everything is very scary and uncertain. My sister wants to make aliyah and move to Israel. Our Mom has a cousin who lives there with her husband and their two fur babies. So my sister is really , really planning to follow thorough and move all the way to Israel, she will go to college there and live with our Mom's cuz for a bit. Our step dad is very against her going , things r extremely complicated. After I get married in 2018 , it may not be safe for my husband and I to visit in Israel. I will probably have to go without my husband , but I'll maybe be looked down at in Israel. Anyways that's all my problem. But I'm starting to become bitter towards all religions because I feel they just cause more war ,pain and hate many people even in people who r mostly good.

Amanda, Dr. Michael Brown, a Messianic Jew, may be able to answer some of the questions and complications you might have. He has a book series, Answering Jewish Objections to Jesus. You can find a lot of info on the internet. I know a lot of Messianic Jews.... meaning - they are Jews, and the believe Yeshua is the Jewish Messiah. My husband is a Messianic Jew. He grew up Reform. Praying for you.

Jeanne Lambert , thanks for the information. Did u start to believe in Jesus on your own or did someone help u ? I'm sorry I meant to say your husband. Did he explore and learn on his own? I'm learning on my own. Although I've gone to a non denominational church a few times. It's where a lot of my friends from college who r Christian attend. I want to talk to one of the pastors there. One of the things I like most about going there is that the people r very non judgmental. Another thing is, and this may sound strange , it's a really big place , and I feel like I can hide and not be noticed. I'm very afraid of my Dad's reaction , if he ever found out. It's a safe place to go , since my Dad wouldn't know anyone there. How did your husband deal with his family ? My grandmother on my Mom's side is very upset, and she has my sister and I over whenever we aren't working on Friday evenings for Shabbat dinner. It's very hard sometimes because she starts crying and tells us how much it'll hurt her if we become Christian. I'm confused and I also feel sad about letting go. How did your husband deal with some Christians when they told him that his family won't be saved unless they believe Jesus. I've been told that my family who have died didn't go to heaven. Lol the way Joshua Aaron just so casually said Jesus is going to return just down the street from here is so funny. But seriously, it must be amazing to live so close to where prophecy is going to take place one day. I can't imagine what it's like to be in real estate in Jerusalem.
