July 30th, making them Leo (horoscope) babies. I think Leo would approve. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜 I rescued a cat last December, and after months of vet visits we had to put her down. Never had to do that before, they usually go from old age, it was horrific. But my kiddo and I are going to an animal shelter event on Saturday and I'm hoping to come home with two new friends. I hope they're as awesome as Phoenix and Muse. 💗💗

So sorry you had to put your cat down. We did that with two of our cats. One was 21 years old and her body was shutting down. Then our youngest cat died from blood clots and she had to be put down. Our middle cat died at home and we don’t know what she died from. But we got two new ones.

Finally came back to check in after Leo's passing, which I was heartbroken about. I got really nervous because my cats are about the same age and I saw another influencer's cat pass away around 7 yrs old too. So happy you got two and excited that they share the same bday as my orange boy, who is also an attention hog and beats out his sister at play time. Even more excited that they have ancient mythology names like my Hercules and Aurora! Again, super happy for you!

It's part of the "cat distribution system". They say a cat/cats will appear in your life when you need them most. We met our cat, Feta, the same exact day that my mother-in-law unexpectedly passed away. She was meant to be ours, and they're meant to be yours ❤

But they can help heal the heart by bringing joy and laughter. Love the names!! ❤ After hearing Muse meow, I thought of a different spelling(probably someone already has used it...), but Mews would be a perfect dual meaning name. 😉

Kittens are the best. They bring so much light into our lives. I have 2 as well, who are now 6. One is obsessed with my art supplies too and is always in the way 😂 My Trixie is a lot like Muse, but with white socks. She isn't calm though 😂

Omg they are absolutely adorable. I never was a cat person growing up but when we got a cat, I filled in love with him and he recently passed away last year as well and he was the most sweetest cat ever. He was my best friend that might be a little weird, but I have suffered from ADHD and depression, my entire life and I use my pets as emotional support animals and I haven’t gotten around to getting another cat because I’ve been so busy with work and with starting my own business it’s been really hard for me still but I want to thank you for sharing your babies with me said they are absolutely adorable. I hope you have a safe and blessed day.

So cute! I know how hard it is when a cat passes. My 18 years old baby passed some years ago after at least 5 years battling intestine cancer. She was the sweetest ever and even the veterinaries and assistants/nurses at the vet hospital loved her so much they gave us a framed picture of her like a month after she passed, with a really sweet note. She was a grey tabby so I personally didn't want another one, like you, but in the end my sister got a kind of grey/brownish tabby at a pet shelter. Jiji is now my companion and would be around me all day everywhere I go, the cutest thing. Some months ago we got another cat, Chester is hyperactive and at first they would fight all the time because she is really chill and he would bother her, now they will just get at little fights like yours do, nothing like when he first came it. Chester appeared on our yard, running away from the neighborhood bully (a big street cat that fights and runs after even dogs), according to the vet he was about 8 to 10 months old, he was small for his age and super skinny, underfed for sure because for the first week he would eat everything and even his big sister's food. He also has scars from fights and had a bad case of a big pus blister that gave us a lot of work to cure. Now he is healthy and happy. Cats are a blessing. They always makes us laugh and smile and there is no way to stay mad at them for more than some minutes, it doesn't matter the mess they do XD.

when I adopted my cat Mae, I already had my boy Eli, he had just turned 14 months old when I brought her home, I was expecting jealousy since he was an only child but instead he came from laying on the foot of the bed, his eyes grew big he even smiled, like he would say Where have you been Best Friend? They would lick each other, hug each other. And the night Eli died Mae ran around the house looking for him, sniffing the air, if Mae had the ability would have cried along with me

The "other" mom looks like my Miss Jellybean. She too was "stranded", and I don't know her true situation, but I can imagine she was probably born to someone's cat they refused to spay. She most likely grew up inside a home (because her paw pads were not worn) and then when she couldn't be "given away" she was likely put in a box or carrier, and dropped off in the middle of nowhere. She was a young cat when we found her, shy but also very friendly. After a very difficult capture, we kept her inside and she quickly became THE MOST LIVING cat I have ever known. She is terrified of carriers and cages and any closed in spaces. She won't sit in boxes like a normal cat. But she lives her fluffy cat bed, as well as my bed and she is a total baby lover. She sleeps with me and my baby all the time, as well as letting my older 1 year old baby snuggle with her (even if he is a little rough) When we found her she DID have worms, but she didn't have fleas, which is why I believe at some point she WAS an indoor cat that was atleast recieving some type of treatment. But I know so many people will NEVER take a "cat" to the vet. Only use over the counter whatever meds they can. Which is sad. But, atleast she found us and we have her and our family is finally complete ❤
