Meet Our Pig! 🐷🐽 Taco Salad Night for Reba!

Meet Reba the Pig!
For those that do not know, yes, we have the sweetest little (well not little lol) potbelly pig named Reba! When we first got her a few years back, we had no idea that she would get to be as big as she is. She was just the tiniest little thing when we first got her home, but now she is bigger than most of the dogs that we have had!
I have started a schedule of posting every Wednesday and Friday at 2 pm for normal videos, but today I thought I would also incorporate this random/fun little video to show off Reba. Her time in the spotlight wont have any rhyme or reason to when ill post her videos, but I like the idea of posting little things here and there about our "starter farm" without it being on a schedule!
Every week I like to give Reba a special meal to switch up her normal feed. She likes pretty much anything, but she LOVES fruits and veggies. They are also very good for her. The salsa that I add into her Taco Salad is not spicy for obvious reasons, but it is packed with all kinds of veggies! Although I can not give her that too often because too much sodium is bad for the pigs. This upcoming week I am going to be working on getting the shine back into her coat because the mud, dirt and sun will dry her out fairly quickly. Also, since its been so hot, weve been giving her extra mud in her cage and its nearly impossible to keep her shiny during all that but whatever. lol
She has been the most amazing pet and is so great with the kids! She has outgrown her current pen now, but in the weeks to come Branch and I are planning on expanding the one shes in, or atleast adding other areas in the yard that she can roam to. We cant let her roam the whole yard 24/7 because she will eat everything in sight! The kids have tons of toys and who knows what else out there so im scared for her to be eating just any old thing. and she will. lol

Funny....we actually have a potbelly as well. Ours is pink...male....his name is Nick Nick...aka...honey ham. We got him in 2014.....not realizing ya couldn't trust the sellers regarding how big he was going to get..... he's HUGE. As a matter of fact.... we've recently had to cut back on his food just due to him being so fat....too fat ... 😂. He gets along great with our 5 kitty cats....and our german shepherd. I have to admit....our GS is our baby tho. He's the only one that stays in the house.....has to have his eye on my husband or me at ALL times....😂
