@@NS-ez7ov I watch every Knicks game even though they suck. That's why it annoys me when people have such clueless takes on players , especially in Randles case. Because he turns the ball over some, and is good at taking the ball to the basket , people assume hes selfish and not a good passer when it's just the opposite. He's fantastic at driving and then kicking out to a player on the perimeter for a open 3 when he gets the 2nd defender to crash down on him. You don't avg over 3dimes a game from the PF position if you never pass. That's just commonsense

@Harker9114 жыл бұрын
Size matters so much in this league. Look at Trae Young. Awesome player. Does he have a chance of guarding Kawhi? Every era is dominated by wing-sized players or big men. Now you have SFs to Center-sized guys who can do everything a PG can do. I love Trae, Ja, Westbrook and co... but dude... they ain't going ANYWHERE without one of those guys on their team. RJ has a chance to be one of those guys. Good instincts, good all-around player. REally, really needs to get that mid-range shot going and that free throw going. I think his 3 point shooting is better than expected and I think he'll get better there. But a guy like him doesn't need to be a great 3 point shooter. Bully ball in and hit his mid range shots and free throws and he's golden.

@@Harker911 u mustve missed the all star game smh
@Harker9114 жыл бұрын
@@witefalcon44 I don't know you're referring to. All star games aren't the best things to refer to as evidence, especially when they start having a slam dunk contest with 2 min to go. My point is little guys can't defend big guys who are as talented, if not more so than the little guy. Championships are what teams are after. And no little guy has won it without significant, almost unrealistic amounts of help from a star wing-sized player or bigger. And that's why RJ is a good player to have. All-around good player with good instincts and has a chance to develop into a very good two-way player.

If he's not going to be better than Melo in NYC then idk what we are talking about here
@witefalcon444 жыл бұрын
Melo got traded here from denver. U dont like our draft pick?
@Harker9114 жыл бұрын
Give the kid time. Everyone develops at different paces, and not everyone's trajectory is the same. Some start out hot and fade away once you realize what their weaknesses are, and others take a while to reach their potential. Also, while Melo was a tremendous offensive player -- all-time great offensive player-- he wasn't a good defender nor was he a good passer, which made him difficult to build around. RJ has good instincts, and is already demonstrating skills all-around. So he has a chance. IMO, the best player on your team has to be a wing-sized player 6-6 or 6-7+ with an all-around game. Defense and passing are extremely important. I mean, I love Ja Morant. But without a big wing to defend the top players in the league, which are always those 6-6+ sized players, what is he going to do that Russell Westbrook hasn't tried? Or guys like AI? Can average 30 10 and 10 and it won't make a difference. PG-size guys have ZERO chance of negating opposing star players, whereas guys like Kawhi can defend 4 positions and do it extremely well. Kawhi doesn't need to score 40 points a game in the playoffs to win. If Ja Morant is the main scorer and main dude, he'll be required to score 40 a game to a have a chance to win playoff games and championships. Look at Harden as an example of what happens even if you're that size but have no defense. Can't win one. Curry won because he has an all-time great supporting cast, which I guess if you can build one, sure. But it's not realistic.
