selling PUTS vs buying PUTS are very very different and "selling puts" can result in much higher risk and result in getting a margin call. "buying puts" you wont receive a margin call. selling a put is the same as shorting a put. Your receiving the premium (money) upfront. you need the stock to go up. ( I think this is what he means when he says "chasing credits") buying a put, your shorting and you pay a premium (money) upfront. you need the stock to go down. It messes with your head.

33:06 and that Is actually what Sean wanted to happen... but due to the structure he was positioned In a way that when the short idea actually starts playing out as such, he starts loosing money... a lot of it... quickly. Yeah he won't forget that structuring error. ever. great lesson for the rest of us. Thank you Sean. 33:50 fk me. JEEZ. close call. thank god it didn't trade below $115.
