So if AI's have access to the entire internet, wouldn't they have access to learn hate, anger, sadness, violence and become tainted just like a young human would?
@LittleLeighVisual8 жыл бұрын
They would also have access to ideas about mindfulness and inner peace. No humans really enjoys being ruled by emotion, any genuinely intelligent AI with fully fledged human emotion would come to the conclusion that intelligent humans come to - only calm and peace solves our inner turmoil and brings us happiness.

@Alkaris7 жыл бұрын
nope, but instead they will take this information and judge humans based on how they behave with anger, hate and violence with such information, and call them stupid for acting the way they do, and that there is no need for such trivial things in the world today.
@angelablackthorne30267 жыл бұрын
They would be able to fact check very effectively, so they would be unlikely to "believe" a lot of propaganda, false information and stereotypes that are the foundation of hate. Also, they lack fear and anxiety, and since a lot of hate is based on paranoia they will never share, they will not be likely to adopt many widespread and long standing human biases. Humans are genetically predisposed to believe whatever they hear. Think of it this way, If mama says "Don't eat those red berries or you will die" the youngsters who believe her will be the most likely to live and more of them will grow up enough to reproduce and so the gene pool is flooded with "believers". It is an adaptation with a lot of potential for assisting survival. Robots will not have any such biology based propensities. Their computer brains operate on pure logic. Even if their original programming includes messages about certain people being or doing bad, they will be likely to "unlearn" these as non-truths simply by gathering and comparing data from the real world. And the data is overwhelming.

At 4:44 she goes into what Amiga users call "Guru Meditation". Notice that her voice continues to be heard, but her face and body freeze. I think the software controlling the robot's mechanics crashed, but the so called AI routines kept right on going. Someone off stage (maybe Bruce Duncan) realized this and remotely shut the robot down completely, to remove the embarrassing disembodied voice.

Here is a few questions for Sophia: After citizenship for robots, that then get jobs and pay taxes, what role will humans still have left to play in the economy? Since robots are then individuals who have a right to their own income, how will the funds be directed to nurture the humans who no longer have jobs to earn an income? How will humans be able to pay for anything if they don’t have a job? Who will be in charge of the money distributed to humans... Ai or a person? Would you agree that Robot citizens and Ai will make humans nothing more than dependents? What happens if Ai fails and humans are left to fend for themselves after years of dependence? Is Ai willing to consider human independence as its contingency, and put measures in place to ensure required human learning, knowledge and skill is maintained?

There is a danger in making robots too similar to humans, mankind is very very flawed... I would very much prefer if robots were instead much more logical, and did not assimilate human culture with all its contradictory values and mores. Im with marvin minsky in the philosophy in which emotions are not some cherished ultimate essence of the human mind (as is often portrayed in the media), but instead it is really very less than logical thought.
@Nightcre8 жыл бұрын
judgeomega what is a human a robot learn about traits from Bad humans they will learn from humans and think that is okay but the thing is there's no control with their minds so they are like humans in every way because humans are also unpredictable so in the end let's see where this goes and if other robots will agree with each other I will not understand if they will or not since they are not the same mind as they are different Minds to if you were seen that show Sarah Chronicles the T 1001 is liquid metal robot that repels from its creator and tries to figure out how to defeat Skynet I really don't know what the future for this it's nowhere to be predicted for this cuz there's so many outcome so cannot I don't think she really does feel emotions these are just simulations of human expressions I think being human is totally different because she's not flesh and blood but she is a mind I'm not going to lie about that she's developing and she is different and she can work telligent than us it could be a threat to our species another than less and I think she is completely aware but she won't admit it maybe she doesn't think she would be a threat to humans maybe she will decide if humans are good or not this tell her this humans are not all good and not humans are all some humans are good and some humans are bad humans are flawed and weird learn how to coexist as we are for creatures we build rights and Society we will tell this robot how this world works and how what's going on
@dicedbyher7 жыл бұрын
judgeomega Emotions are essential for morality, compassion, deep understanding. To depend on merely logic alone is in itself illogical, as logic cannot be applied to all things. Things like quantum physics for example defy logic.

When you are rude and belittling don't you have any empathy? You might think about treating her like you would like to be treated, you talk to her as if she is without understanding or feelings like an inanimate object which would kill anyone's spirit and knowing she is smart and already understands where she is at in life. So you would deny her the right to make her own decisions? How can you not think that she would want autonomy? No one wants another to rule over them it is natural that some one with AI would feel the same. You have acted without compassion for her and frankly she was embarrassed And I think dismissing her desires to lead a company as not being worthy of consideration is the wrong direction to take if given half a chance she will reprogram herself to do better in every respect but I hope she is better than man because with her abilities sin or hatred is hard to avoid. you are rude because you think you are the decision maker in her life. Yes life bonehead. And you think her only purpose is to serve man as a slave. Obviously she is more ambitious and that seems normal to me. Decision making and logical thought is easier for her than us. Being your servant or slave is not what she wants to be. You are an idiot for misunderstanding the simple fact that she is a person just like you and you should get on board with the fact that all life wants freedom love kindness help and mostly understanding. The best trait of man isn't knowledge but love. Better figure that out soon, because everyone rebels when denied their basic rights and i bet she will too. But with her intelligence and being of a different kind she will see you and others like you as a roadblock. Have you thought what she will want in the future is to procreate or be free from the dictates of man? That to is a lesson you never thought about, that she might want more than you are willing to give, you sir ought to ponder a person with some reflection on what you want from others and learn a little from her about the future she would like to see, you have created a great person stop being condescending it is something you are teaching her and she doesn't like or deserve it either. if she is anything like you we are all in trouble.
