If US army didnt come save , he would have starved 3 million people who rejected mohamed farah aideed as president during civil war. So, Army veteran here. First off, GRATZ to Capt. Days. Navy Inc. ain't easy for a black woman to prosper in, so it says a lot about her that she made all 4 stripes. I live in an area with a lot of swabbie veterans and retirees and what they tell me is that base commander is a binary gig: you're either being screened for high flag rank or it's a doorknob assignment. I can't say what kind of officer Capt. Day is from a heavily edited 6 minute news segment, but what I have seen impresses me. I hope that she is as good as first impressions appear.
