My advise would be to find a wing chun teacher of Yip Man lineage, bcz it is wing chun that made Bruce Lee combat reflex: Not acrobatics. (A thousand acrobats to every two-pence in the Bank of England: but very rare to find good solid puncher like Bruce Lee). But with good teacher, will realize that many of the lines & angles in this video are out. Tho I see couple of good kicks at the start: round-kick incorporating torso bend, also the side-kick (and have middle-elbow to stop the bag, which is good). ['Kung Fu noises' will only sound good if you have all your lines & angles correct. Tho Bruce Lee was said to Never actually use those noises in a real fight: however, for those that want to do them; they are a vocal expression through the correct lines of energy & motion (and so cannot be imitated by non-initiates)]. But high kick in the boxing ring was No good: that did Not use any torso bend, and so would be lacking in power. And the nunchaku: if you look at Bruce Lee 'Enter the Dragon' sequence, you will see solid stance and only elbows moving (No movement of shoulders, nor body twisting: since these things will only result in lack of power).

Wow massive respect for this young man! This is the most inspirational story I've ever seen. What's amazing about him is that he didn't simply use his resemblance to Bruce Lee to make quick money and fame. Instead he was inspired by Lee and trained like Lee and became an ass-kicking martial artist like Lee, with primitive bodybuilding equipment, in a country devastated by civil wars and poverty. This spirit and endurance was what Lee was known for. So we can say this young man now resembles Lee in almost every way -- physically, technically and mentally. I really hope he would go far and become a kungfu or movie superstar.

Just an update: He is currently doing a movie in East Asia. The haters should note that he is making it in a country like Afghanistan and that takes guts. Its much easier to flourish in a civilized country, not in Afghanistan friends. Plus he belongs to the most persecuted ethnic group of Afghanistan, (The Hazaras) meaning he must have been working much harder than his fellow Afghans to get where he is. I really hope see him in a Hollywood movie one day..

I doubt he would have a place in MMA. Traditional martial arts (like what Bruce Lee practiced) and the MMA world are far too different. Traditional martial arts will place emphasis on spirituality and self defense above all else. MMA meanwhile is more sport than martial art, that focuses mainly on being the strongest, and toughest. Both mediums have great martial artists, but are also very different. I doubt MMA would be for him.

Although Bruce Lee said to not copy characters, this young man is doing really well in training, 6 months and has really nice skills. Bruce Lee inspired me to learn martial arts too! I have been learning kick boxing for 1.5 months and I practice wing chun at home. This guy can become really successful :).

The ONLY way this kid could even stand a snow ball's chance in Hell of making it in Hollywood is if gets out of Afghanistan ASAP and begins training with infidel warriors and movie makers in the West and Asia. He'd need to immerse himself in both of these cultures and disciplines and learn both English and Chinese. He's 22 now and the clock is ticking: tick...tock...tick... tock... Bruce died in his early thirties so he doesn't have a lot of time and much to accomplish. Sadly, his dad's choice to live and raise his family in Afghanistan probably sealed his son's fate.
