I think its less based on Tracer being actually annoying, and more based on situations around her. Tracer is pretty much the face of Overwatch - and even though she was a powerful female cover character - she had to go through crazy controversial ordeals over her ass. NOW she's also recently been shown to have a Lesbian Roommate, which is likely her girlfriend since she's clearly all-ok with the advances her roomie makes - So she's now unconfirmed confirmed gay herself, Which also means that the controversy shown to her originally, to a strong female character who is also gay, is now more uncalled for than ever, but, those who found it wrong aren't going to ever let themselves be wrong, so there's zero chance of them apologizing for it and instead they mostly just say Blizzard made her gay just to pull in audience, she's the "token gay character" She's an amazing character, and has a few bad puns here and there - Take that, Combine it with the mentality of the people who got her taunt or whatever censored and had so much issue with her and that they can never be wrong and always have to have their way or their somehow offended, hurt, or wronged..... And You get /this/ Amazing Tracer. Tumblr Warrior Uses LGBTQ as a weapon/tool Uses Gender as a Weapon/tool Makes Bad Puns Always has to be right, can do whatever cause they're right and can totally do anything. etc etc The Mashed Widowmaker hates Tracer animation - that one just exaggerates Tracers occasionally bad pun, and exaggerates Widowmaker's interactions with Tracer - as well as their confrontations from the Comics/cutscenes/lore
