Ran into one of these last night. Those torps have near zero spread, which I found out the hard way after turning into them expecting to slip through the gap, only to eat 3 right on the nose. And, I totally forgot these are one and done planes, so while I was busy trying to maneuver to avoid the second drop, he came back with the skip bombers. Got me full broadside. Ouch. Only reason I survived was because it was the end of the game and we won on points. If he'd found me at the beginning of the game, I would have been back in port extremely quickly.

Folks for us that have been playing for quite some time, this ship will be NERFED! So if you spend 750,000 xp or db be warned. This happens with all ships that are deemed op. They do this-sell you the ship, then let you enjoy for 4 weeks and it will be nerfed. "we have realized the Chkalov was a bit op, and have as such reduced its.....

Polikarpov VIT-2 was a prototype dive bomber than never went into service. VIT is Vozdooshny Istrebitel' Tahnkov (Flying Tank Destroyer) Valery Chkalov whom I assume the ship is named after flew it, as he was a test pilot. He would be killed in an accident flying an prototype Polikarpov I-180 in 1938.

CV players can just do damage to everyone else all game with no risk to them and farm XP. Everyone else has to risk themselves to have a good game and deal with this crap

Typical Wargaming procedure which should be ILLEGAL. Release a new OP ship to generate sales and nerf it in 3 months. You wouldn't spend $80,000 on a 500HP sports car knowing in 3 months the manufacturer will detune it to 200HP. I don't know why you put up with this business practice from WG.
