Singapore-based Keepsake by Ryo isn't your average jewelry company. Instead of precious metals and stones, they create jewelry from materials like breast milk, hair and umbilical cords. The decision to use DNA-based materials came from founder Ryo's desire to commemorate her difficult breastfeeding journey. Breast milk is the life force a mother gives to her baby that promotes growth health and protection. The act of breastfeeding is all consuming in both time and effort for the mum if you’ve never done it you don’t know. The bond you have with your child during this period never happens again in that child’s lifetime. That’s why a keep sake would be so precious for the mum to remind her everyday of that magic bond of love that mum has for her child that never relinquishes.

Breezy S it might not be for you some people think breast milk is disgusting. I don’t, my friend visits his amputated leg at the grave my other friend has a curl in a locket from her deceased daughter each to their own I say. Any way kids don’t stay with their parents forever that’s the whole idea in raring them but your memories may fade this trinket keeps memories alive

Breezy S Yes the leg is in the family plot he lost it when he was a teen saving a girl who had passed out drunk on a railway track and while saving her the train got him instead he ended up marrying her 4 kids later now he’s the one legless they don’t drink anymore he’s a gas man he visits his leg in the hopes they can be reunited again someday in heaven so he can resume his football career in the clouds
