Amazing Ma'am. Would love to follow your journey. I just picked up a book by Dr. AMEN and I am in love. In school now and plan to be a Dr. of Holistic Psychology. I have gone through my own experience in the military, regarding constant trauma, and I am overcoming and want to help others, through the mind!

I’m glad that worked out for him, but that’s a dangerous analogy as people, including children can have frontal lobe damage from a variety of sources that may or may not even show up on imaging. Reasons can include birth trauma, trauma from physical/emotional abuse and neglect, motor vehicle accidents, strokes/encephalitis, undiagnosed mast cell disorder, and even vaccine harm. A better point to make could be that our brains are resilient and plastic and we can develop parts with practice that may have sustained damage. Also that we can unlearn bad habits or use compensatory strategies to override or rethink impulses that aren’t changing as much as we would like. In a school setting it’s important to slow down for kids so they have the opportunity to think out these strategies and learn to utilize them. Teaching masking is NOT a good strategy btw. Idk if this clinic does that or not
