Vast improvement over previous video. Amazing footage of Kanazawa Sensei (RIP) performing Basai (Dai) and of the devastating kumite techniques of no less than Frank Brennan.

Some of the black and white Karate photos are from Okinawa Goju-Ryu Karate style and its founder Master Chojun Miyagi.

Thanks for commenting, really, sometimes I get confused, I'm doing research here and there are many styles with similar katas, thanks for the clarification

@@THEWISDOMOFTHEEAST It's easy to tell the difference between the styles when you remember that there are only two branches of Karate - the Shuri-Te/Tomari-Te branch, and the Naha-Te Branch. The Shuri-Te/Tomari-Te branch stems from the teachings of Kwang Shang Fu (Kusanku) passed down to Sakugawa Kanga and Matsumura Sokon, and finally Itosu Anko. The Shuri-Te styles are styles like Shorin Ryu, Motobu Ryu, and Shotokan. The Naha-Te branch stems from the teachings of Liu Long Gong (Ryu Ryu Ko) passed down to Higaonna Kanryo and Miyagi Chojun. The Naha-Te styles are Goju Ryu and Uechi Ryu. Most styles of karate evolved from one branch or the other, or a combination - Shito Ryu (combination of Shorin Ryu and Goju Ryu), Kyokushin (combination of Shotokan and Goju Ryu), Wado Ryu (combination of Shotokan and Yoshin Ryu Jujutsu), etc.
