I personally believe that the hidden and "lost" stages are actually in the nest. There are some places we can't get to, and remember, the nest is bigger than the actual area we look around in. So I believe that in either the lower parts, or the upper parts, there is a nursery or some kind of place that the giggles, un-seeked-screeches, growls and finally grumbles grow up in.

Theory: The Castle is where the Grumbles had put the teenage giggles. They could've put them here as protection from Seek as there is no trace of his goo outside that castle (when we get there). Another reason is how Grumbles only attacked us because and when we were in their nest which meant they were territorial heavily. It would be weird if the queen grumble attacked us only because of spite as she would have left the safety of the nest to only get us. This massively supports my theory of how The Castle will include teenage giggles.

A light source can fully stun giggles, semi-prevent screeches from spawning and slow down grumbles. I think growls should also be briefly stunned upon you shining a light on them, and followed with a blind dash to the place you were at when you used a light

Y’all, did you know giggle(or this uninfecfected screech) has been teased since hotel+? If you look at the crucification badge for screech it says “I hate you! Could you not be yourself for five minutes?” This is two things in one Screech won’t attack for five minutes after under normal circumstances. Which is a cool little detail Its heavily implied screech is an infected part of the grumble family. Screech is quite literally not itself, as it has turned into basically an entirely different entity, therefore not being itself Fun, who else noticed this :)

i think that the grumbles have more than 3 life stages, so here’s my life cycle of a grumble: -it starts out as a giggle. (a newborn baby.) -then, grows in size a little, turning into a guffaw. (a slightly grown up baby.) -then grows in size, gets extra tentacles, turning into a growl. (a teenager.) -then grows in size even more, and turns into groan. (young adult.) -and finally, grows in size for the last time, and gets more extra tentacles, turning into a grumble. (adult.) and here are the seek-ified versions of them: -squeal (infected giggle.) -shrill (infected guffaw.) -screech (infected growl.) -squawk (infected groan.) -shriek (infected grumble.) and that’s all, i tried to keep up the same starting letter pattern, but there’s a very little amount of words that meet the requirements. but lemme know what ya guys think of this!

I think the Un-infected screeches should be called gaggles. Cuz giggling is basically laughing but smaller, grumbling is like a big-ish complaint or loud noise, so the in-between should be loud-ish but not aggressive, so a gaggle.

funny idea for a modifier a "Growl" spawns on Door 1 (or 101/201) and teleports once you go to the next room (to prevent it from staying behind) just chases you around like a normal grumble except its obviously smaller and slower also yes. I do believe that there are four stages to a giggle lifecycle not including the queen but I don't believe it would be called a growl as It should fit the naming pattern with a "g" at the start and a "le" at the end in my idea it goes giggle-gruntle(my fan-made version of uninfected screech) groggle(this would be the growl in this case I called it the groggle because the 3rd stage is the teenager stage and teenagers are groggy hence groggle) then grumble I also believe a "growl" walking like a cow or dog makes a lot of sense considering that in my version of a uninfected screech because they have grown larger they are too heavy for ceilings and instead use their 6 tentacles to crawl around like a crab or a spider

I have thought about this question before. What I came up with was what I call a "gurgle," which will hide under water in the water rooms. It will gurgle and release bubbles to warn that it's there. I think that just like a giggle, it will attack you when you get near it and pull you into the water and bite you, but unlike with giggles, you can't save another player from them. It also stays after biting and / or eating a player. That's my theory... ...A DOOOOORS THEORY....(That's a matpat reference if it wasn't obvious)

Alternate theory for screech: When giggles are born, they are covered in this slime very similar to seeks slime, and they have more tentacles so they can move around easier in the sticky black slime without sticking to the surface it’s on. Eventually, the screeches eye color changes, more eyes are revealed after some of the slime dries up and falls off, it loses the slime tentacles, then turns into a giggle. Meaning that giggles start off as screeches until they mature into giggles.

it would be cool if rush could kill a growl if they happen to spawn in the same room. adding on to this just like the wall dweller from pressure the growl would drop an item upon death, that being the growl tentacle. It would heal you 50 HP when you eat it.

If you are wondering why I called it a gag, well I need a verb that started with G.
