I thought the pulmonary artery and pulmonary vein send and receive blood to the lungs. The aorta only distributes it throughout the body (i.e. systematic circuit).

In the blood is the life, the life comes from the air (The Spirit of God) and the food and water (the Word of God) we take in. The heart is our motivation, it's job is to pump God's Word and Spirit through our bodies. Now if we eat and drink junk (depend on Worldly things, and surround ourselves by Worldly influences) then we will end up getting sick.
@VickiBee10 жыл бұрын
That doesn't exactly look right, but I've seen people's hearts while they're beating in the person's chest. The left lung is supposedly only 2-lobed and not 3 because part of the heart comes directly into the space where the left lung is. But the photo looks like the left lung also has three lobes. Anyway, I work in the Emergency Room (a Trauma 1 Center) and this guy was stabbed through the middle of his chest. The doctor was forced to open the chest in ER bc as so frequently happens there wasn't a Trauma surgeon right on the spot or at the moment it happened. He had to come in and took over half an hour to get there because of traffic. The knife had penetrated into the heart, the doctor had one of the people on duty with him block the hole while he tried to stitch it, which didn't work all that well because he "didn't know how to stitch flesh that's moving." He didn't have to worry long because a moment later the heart stopped beating. It's a call I'll never forget, but it seems to be happening with alarming increasing frequency these days.
