Meet the Hero Maremma Dogs who Saved a Colony of Little Penguins

When foxes discovered little penguins on a small Australian island off the coast of Warrnambool, they nearly wiped the colony out. But a farmer came up with a novel way to protect the birds. Bring in the maremma dogs. These fluffy white dogs have deterred the foxes and saved the penguins.
