Meet the inventor - SKF CARB toroidal bearing

Innovation can take many shapes and forms.
This was the case for Magnus Kellström and his colleagues when creating the CARB toroidal bearing back in the 1990s, where the idea of a bearing that could tolerate both angular misalignment and axial movement without losing efficiency came to life.

C'mon guys, this is a useless video. It teaches us nothing about the inventor nor the CARB bearing!!

I'm very sorry but this is a waste of time. I did not learn anything, there were no technical specifications on how this bearing is different from others, did not learn anything from the inventor either. It makes me wonder what is the purpose of this? It looks like if it was rushed and superficially made. This is really a pity, there are some other SKF videos which are quite interesting to watch! Hope you get back on track.
