"And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son. " Zachariah 12:10, check also Isaiah 53 The Mashiach walked upon the waters. Job 9:8 "Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea." Psalm 77:19 "Your path led through the sea, your way through the mighty waters, though your footprints were not seen." On this one( Jeremiah 23:5-6) I would like you To check your Hebrew bible and see what is the name of the MASHIACH "The days are coming," declares the LORD, "when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land. In his days Judah will be saved and Israel will live in safety. This is the name by which he will be called: The LORD Our Righteous Savior.(The LORD our Righteous YESHUA) The name of the Mashiach in Isaiah 62:1 "Because I love Zion, I will not keep still. Because my heart yearns for Jerusalem, I cannot remain silent. I will not stop praying for her until her righteousness shines like the dawn, and her salvation(YESHUA) blazes like a burning torch. " According to Micah 5:2 The MASHIACH was born in Bethlehem “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans[a] of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.” Hashem gave a sign in Isaiah 7:14 that the MASHIACH will be born of a virgin "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." Isaiah 7:14 Joel 2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call. Proverbs 30:4 Who has ascended into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son’s name, If you know? This is what David said about the MASHIACH in PSALMS 22, check how David under the inspiration of Ruach haKodesh explains in detail the crusifixion of the MASHIACH. My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? Why are You so far from helping Me, And from the words of My groaning? 2O My God, I cry in the daytime, but You do not hear; And in the night season, and am not silent. 3But You are holy, Enthroned in the praises of Israel. 4Our fathers trusted in You; They trusted, and You delivered them. 5They cried to You, and were delivered; They trusted in You, and were not ashamed. 6But I am a worm, and no man; A reproach of men, and despised by the people. 7All those who see Me ridicule Me; They shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying, 8“He trusted in the Lord, let Him rescue Him; Let Him deliver Him, since He delights in Him!” 9But You are He who took Me out of the womb; You made Me trust while on My mother’s breasts. 10I was cast upon You from birth. From My mother’s womb You have been My God. 11Be not far from Me, For trouble is near; For there is none to help. 12Many bulls have surrounded Me; Strong bulls of Bashan have encircled Me. 13They gape at Me with their mouths, Like a raging and roaring lion. 14I am poured out like water, And all My bones are out of joint; My heart is like wax; It has melted within Me. 15My strength is dried up like a potsherd, And My tongue clings to My jaws; You have brought Me to the dust of death. 16For dogs have surrounded Me; The congregation of the wicked has enclosed Me. They pierced My hands and My feet; 17I can count all My bones. They look and stare at Me. 18They divide My garments among them, And for My clothing they cast lots. 19But You, O Lord, do not be far from Me; O My Strength, hasten to help Me! 20Deliver Me from the sword, My precious life from the power of the dog. 21Save Me from the lion’s mouth And from the horns of the wild oxen! You have answered Me. 22I will declare Your name to My brethren; In the midst of the assembly I will praise You. 23You who fear the Lord, praise Him! All you descendants of Jacob, glorify Him, And fear Him, all you offspring of Israel! 24For He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; Nor has He hidden His face from Him; But when He cried to Him, He heard. 25My praise shall be of You in the great assembly; I will pay My vows before those who fear Him. 26The poor shall eat and be satisfied; Those who seek Him will praise the Lord. Let your heart live forever! 27All the ends of the world Shall remember and turn to the Lord, And all the families of the nations Shall worship before You. 28For the kingdom is the Lord’s, And He rules over the nations. 29All the prosperous of the earth Shall eat and worship; All those who go down to the dust Shall bow before Him, Even he who cannot keep himself alive. 30A posterity shall serve Him. It will be recounted of the Lord to the next generation, 31They will come and declare His righteousness to a people who will be born, That He has done this. Yeshua, Jesus as we call him Christians, came and died on the cross and rose up on the third day, by his blood if you repent and believe, you will receive full redemption. Shalom!!!

What are some of the credentials of the Messiah according to the Tanakh? * Messiah was to be born at Bethlehem: Micah 5:2 (Micah 5:1 in Hebrew Bible) * Messiah would be from the tribe of Judah: Genesis 49:10 * Messiah would present himself by riding on an ass: Zechariah 9:9 * Messiah would be tortured to death: Psalm 22:1-31 * Messiah would arrive before the destruction of the Second Temple: Daniel 9:24-27 * Messiah’s life would match a particular description, including suffering, silence at his arrest and trial, death and burial in a rich man’s tomb, and resurrection: Isaiah 52:13-53:12 In regard to lineage, birthplace, time, and lifestyle, Yeshua/Jesus matched the Messianic expectations of the Hebrew Scriptures. In the first place, he claimed to be the Messiah! When a woman said to him, “I know that Messiah is coming,” he replied, “I who speak to you am he” (John 4:25-26). Naturally, that doesn’t prove anything one way or the other. But if Jesus had never made the claim to be the Messiah, why would we bother to try and prove that he was? His own claim lays the groundwork for the rest of the evidence. If these “credentials” in the Hebrew Scriptures are so clear, why didn’t most Jewish people believe in Yeshua/Jesus? To understand this, one must realize that by the time of Jesus, the messianic hope had become greatly politicized in the minds of the people. They were seeking deliverance from the tyranny of Rome. Although the Scripture spoke both of the sufferings and of the victories of the messiah, the victorious aspect had become uppermost in the minds of the common people because of Roman domination. This “lopsided” view of the Messiah has stuck with many Jewish people, and the politicization of the messianic hope has continued to this day. This is not to say that all Jewish people rejected the claims of Yeshua. On the contrary, all the first followers of Yeshua were Jews. In fact, the rabbis of that time and afterwards were well aware of the many messianic prophecies which Christians claimed were fulfilled in Jesus. So, for instance, although the Talmudic rabbis concurred that Isaiah 53 was a prediction of the Messiah, by medieval times the pressure from those who applied this prophecy to Jesus was so great that Rashi, one of the greatest medieval Biblical scholars, reinterpreted the chapter and said it referred to the nation of Israel. This interpretation is maintained today by many Jewish scholars, though it only dates back to the Middle Ages. What makes Jesus different from others who have claimed to be the Messiah? There have been false messiahs throughout Jewish history. Among the most prominent were Bar Kokhba who led a revolt against Rom (AD 132-135) and Shabbetai Zevi, a self proclaimed messiah of the seventeenth century. During Bar Kokhba’s revolt, one of the most famous figures in Jewish history, Rabbi Akiva, proclaimed him to be “King Messiah.” Unfortunately, Bar Kochba, Akiva and thousands of Jews were killed in AD 135. when the Romans stormed the stronghold of Betar. Shabbetai Zevi, on the other hand, was a self-proclaimed messiah. Flourishing in seventeenth-century Europe, the Shabbatean movement spread among both the common people and the rabbis. But when Shabbetai Zevi was arrested in 1666 by the Sultan of Turkey, he converted to Islam rather than face death. Jews have been tragically wrong before, so it is not surprising that hard evidence should be sought for believing in Jesus. Jesus’ life stands in sharp contrast to those of the false messiahs, and it is a positive demonstration of what we would expect the Messiah to do. Jesus worked many miracles of healing, bringing wholeness into people’s lives, forgiving sin and restoring relationships. In contrast to Shabbetai Zevi, for instance, Jesus carried out the Law of Moses as a devout Jew. And in contrast to Bar Kokhba, although Jesus died he was also resurrected! Jesus rose from the dead. The resurrection is a piece of additional evidence, and it is perhaps the most convincing vindication of Jesus’ claims. Israeli scholar, Pinchas Lapide, wrote a book that has attracted no small amount of attention in the Jewish community. In The Resurrection of Jesus: A Jewish Perspective, Lapide argued that the resurrection of Jesus is well within the realm of possibility. After all, he reasoned, the Hebrew Scriptures give a number of accounts of people coming back to life. Why not Jesus as well? Regrettably, Lapide fails to note that the resurrection of Jesus is described in terms that go far beyond the resuscitations of the other stories. He fails to come to grips with the fact that Jesus predicted his own resurrection, which vindicated his claims to Messiahship. Throughout history, people have explained away the resurrection as either non-historical (“It never happened”) or as non-supernatural (“Here’s how it could have happened”). But these explanations have not been successful. Run through the possibilities yourself and see which makes the most sense. Did the Roman authorities steal the body of Jesus from the tomb? Then why didn’t they produce it when the word spread that Jesus was risen? Or maybe the disciples stole it. But could such a fabrication on their part account for the change in their attitude? Three days earlier, they were disillusioned, defeated idealists who had hoped that Jesus would usher in a new world order. Could a lie, which they knew to be a lie, now account for their hope, their boldness in the face of official persecution, and for the high ethical standards they set? Perhaps Jesus never died; perhaps he just fainted on the cross and revived in the tomb. This idea was popularized in the book The Passover Plot by Hugh J. Schonfield. Unfortunately, the author overlooked the fact that the Romans pierced Jesus’ side, which would have most certainly killed him. Also, there was a contingent of Roman soldiers guarding the tomb as well as a huge stone that blocked its entrance. There was no way that a resuscitated Jesus could have escaped and then convinced hundreds of skeptical eyewitnesses that he had conquered death forever! Or was it all a hallucination? It must have been quite a hallucination to be seen by vastly different kinds of people at different times of day in many different places. You might be able to fool one person, but can you fool 500 who saw him at one time? And, unlike hallucinations, these appearances of the resurrected Jesus stopped as suddenly as they started, 40 days after the resurrection had taken place. The only satisfactory explanation is that the resurrection actually occurred, just as the record says. And if that’s the case, it’s a solid reason for accepting the Messiahship of Jesus/Yeshua. Jesus transforms people’s lives. Because he provides atonement for sin and reconciliation with God, Jesus brings peace, joy, and purpose into people’s lives. Apart from faith in him, there is no basis for true peace or direction, for, as the psalmist says, “Man is estranged from the womb.” That this estrangement is healed by the reconciling ministry of Jesus is the common experience of those who believe in him. Between the objective evidence of the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament, and the subjective verification in our own lives-we think there’s ample evidence that Jesus was who he claimed to be! Therefore,by his blood if you repent and believe, you shall receive the full redemption...Amen!!!! Maranatha!!! Ref.Jewsforjesus.org

@@aharonmali5388 well said sir. Jesus said to the Jewish leaders if that time” I came in the name of my father and you did not accept me. There is one coming in his own name and him you will receive. He was actually referring to false christ whom they are about to accept. Satan know that they are expecting their moshiach and he will provide them with one, to the fulfillment of Jesus Christ’s prophecy. What about the little horn that will enter into a covernant with Israel and later betray the covernant and make war against the saints of the most high? Truly prophecies of the Old Testament prophet have been fulfilled through Jesus Christ.

Daniels’ prophecies are about to be fulfilled. That prophecy is clarified by angel gabriel as concerning the time of the end, final judgement of the living and the dead and God putting an end to Satan’s kingdom. God told the Jewish in the desert on their way to the promised land that their neck is stiffened. Jesus called them killers of the prophets and those sent to them by God. They also stoned him though he did great miracles, signs and wonders as confirmation of his ministry given by God. When he entered Jerusalem he cried for them that their house was to be desolate. He gathered them again in these last days to fulfil end times prophecies. He also prophesied about he destruction of the second temple.

another thing. rabbi said in this lecture that messiah will come if you listen to hashem's voice... the actual text says - if you listen to HIS voice... and because there are no lower case and upper case letters in hebrew, it is not clear who is this HIS, whose voice must be listened to. it may well be the voice (= words of wisdom) of the messiah himself...

I may be wrong(I have been wrong before) but it seems there is a logical fallacy in the story of esther and the woman knowing that breaking shabbos keeps away redemption. if she knows that this then she must know that hashem is real and then, it follows that any plan you can try to come up with to confound hashem is just silly really. am I missing something here? Iacchus6 This is your interpretation. Kaduri NEVER EVER SAID THAT. What he said was something like - he will prove that his law is valid... or sth similar to this. And the acronym of those words there made the word - Jehoshua... Which technically is a full name of Jesus in Hebrew. But it inly seems to be such. And anyway, Kaduri THIS MESSAGE DOESN'T POINT IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE THAT HE MEANT JESUS WITH HIS NOTE. The problem is, Jehoshua is not only a person's name. This word, as many know it, means - God is Salvation... Basically, Kaduri left a riddle. But there will be no Jesus in that story for sure. Or I don't know what Orthodox Rabbi means.

i believe this is one of common misconception in judaism that saved the christianity's existence. and this misconception is that there are different scenarious that can be triggered by different actions of humans... it all came to be because of some jewish prophets that expressed their visions with "ifs"... the thing is god states through other prophets that what is from him definitely will come true... even though actions of people matter in their own fate, god already knows who and when will do what... this view of jews that there are different scenarious led to christian concept of second coming and failure to bring the redemption in the first time for jews did not accept him... so jewish cencepts are at the core of the emerge of christianity. for god there is no two possibilities... if god wanted to show anything to people, why woud he confuse them by showing different outcomes?

This is obvious propaganda. Since he or no one else know who the messiah. is. What is so disturbing is his lack of humility. None of these Rabbis ever thought Israel would come to be as it did in 1948 and not thru Rabbis. You would think that would humble them or to understand that they look no better then other religious figures who says thinks that aren't true and are basically false prophets which is something the Torah despises.

it is not the messiah who is going to save but the message of righteousness or the spirit of truth, as jesus put it. jesus is not a messiah let alone god, but jews should have given more respect to him... there was something about him... so the message not the messiah saves. and the message can only be about some kind of righteousness, about some pure and proper knowledge. for nothing can bring peace and prosperity to all if it is not a knowledge that could bring righteousness to whole world and which no religion of today has managed it. And Isaiah wrote - by HIS KNOWLEDGE my Servant will bring justice to many... or sth of this kind in chapter 53. so technically, if redemption and god's salvation is down to righteousness, than it is and has been available all along. the reason for not having is explained in isaiah 53. in there it states - we all like sheep have went astray... yes, ALL, and yes, WE..., not them and apart from us, as jews, christians and muslims claim. they all stubbornly stick each to their own misconcepts and for this reason are tied up with falshood and the truth stays far away from them.

I will quote Jesus for I have come to understanding that many of his sayings have some very deep and great meaning. So Jesus said - whoever will seek it will be revealed to him... Se there is your formula of revelation... If one truly wants to understand so deep that there are no contradictions left, and he is like pregnant with this desire to understand over many years, possibly decades, than sooner or later he will come to the Truth. And I like to think that I do understand thing or two. Nobody knows everything though. Rabbi Tovia Singer explains to his audience that it is forbidden for today's Jews to proclaim the date of WHEN the Messiah will appear. This is nonsense! Deuteronomy 18:21-22 has Israel asking Moses how to know if a prophet is false or not. They are told if the prophecy does not come to pass then the prophet is false. This answer IMPLIES that the prophecy is to occur within the lifetime of the audience hearing it, for how could they know if the prophet is false or not if it is to happen after their lifetimes? Does the Bible say WHEN the Messiah is to appear? YES! Jeremiah said that at the end of a 70 year Exile in Babylon, God would destroy Babylon, and return the people to their land. The cities will be rebuilt and Temple, and a king (MESSIAH) of their own will rule. The Exile began circa 587 BC, subtract 70 years and the Exile is over circa 517 BC. The Problem? The prophecised events of a Davidic Messiah and in-gathering of all of Israel and Judah did not happen as predicted. This made the prophet Isaiah (and Jeremiah) a false prophet and God a liar (As Rabbi Tovia Singer acknowledged in his speech). In order to perpetuate the Jewish faith (and Christian faith) it was necessary to NOT seek the date for the restoration of the Davidic Messiah to power, in scripture! So, the Rabbis (and Christian priests) TURNED A BLIND EYE TO THE ANNOUNCED DATE by the prophets Jeremiah, Haggai and Zechariah, WHO ALL UNDERSTOOD THE MESSIAH WOULD COME AT THE END OF THE 70 YEAR EXILE. Isaiah understood the restoration of the Messiah was to be in the days of Cyrus the Persian, circa 539 BC (Isa 44:26-27; 45:1, 13). The question that is NOT addressed by Rabbi Tovia Singer is "WHEN will the Messiah appear according to Scripture?" The Rabbi , regrettably, in his various KZbin videos, only cites scripture as to WHAT the Messianic Age will look like. Jeremiah gives us the all important date for the appearance of the Messiah. He states that after a 70 year exile (Jer 25:11-12), God will take mercy on his people and cause Babylon's yoke of captivity to end (Jer 28:11; 30:8) by having Babylon destroyed by a coalition of foreign kings: Medes, Ararat, Minni and Ashkenaz (Jer 51:11, 27-28). With Babylon's destruction accomplished God will then bring back his people to the Promised Land, God will gather his people from all the nations he has scattered them to (Jer 29:10-14). The city of Jerusalem will be rebuilt and royal palace, a king/prince of themselves will rule (Jer 30:18-21). Israel and Judah will be restored (Jer 31:27), a new covenant made, God will cause his law to be written in their hearts so that there is no need for a man to teach his fellow man "know the Lord" (Jer 31:31-34). God declares at that time he will remember their sin no more, and forgive their iniquity (Jer 31:34). A righteous branch is to appear on behalf of David, to rule (Jer 33:14) and that David will for ever more have a man to sit on his throne (Jer 33:17) and Levitical priests will always have men to serve God in the temple (Jer 33:17-18) to burn cereal offerings and to make sacrifices for ever (Jer 33:18). Again, Jeremiah has Israel joining God in a new covenant upon the destruction of Babylon (Jer 50:1-20), God, at that time (Babylon's destruction and Israel's return from exile) will find no iniquity in Israel or Judah, for he will pardon those he left as a remnant of the 70 year exile (Jer 50:14-20). Haggai says he is to be Zerb'babel, the Persian governor of Judaea and grandson of Judah's king (Hagg 2:20-23). Zechariah agrees with Haggai, the post-exilic Messiah is to be Zerub'babel, he will bear rule and complete God's temple (Zecr4:7-10; 6:11-14). WHEN will Zerub'babel be made Messiah by God? AFTER GOD OVERTHROWS THE THRONE OF KINGDOMS (Hagg 2:20-23), a veiled euphemism for the Persian monarchy. At this time Darius faced several revolts in his empire, attempts to overthrow him. He overcame all. Apparently Haggai and Zechariah thought the revolts were God's doing, with the Persian monarchy gone, Israel could anoint her Davidic Messiah without Persian interference. They were wrong. The Persians apparently recalled Zerub'babel back to the Persian Court and there was no anointing of a Davidic Messiah, fearing rebellion from Israel. Not only was Jeremiah a False Prophet, so too were Haggai and Zechariah. Judah's exile began circa 587 BC, subtract 70 years and the exile is over circa 517 BC. The Temple is rebuilt in Jerusalem by circa 515 BC by Zerub'babel (see p. 1145, Book of Haggai, for the date of the temple's completion in The New Oxford Annotated Bible with Apocrypha, Expanded Edition. Revised Standard Version. 1977. Editors: Herbert G. May and Bruce M. Metzger). There is a good reason WHY Rabbis and Rabbinical Sages avoid the subject of WHEN all the above is to occur (At the end of the 70 years Babylonian Captivity according to Jeremiah). The reason? Both Rabbi and Christian Priest KNOW that God's promises were not fulfilled with the ending of the 70 year Babylonian Captivity and return to the Promised Land, MAKING A LIAR OUT OF GOD, and making Jeremiah a FALSE PROPHET! This failure by God to carry out his promises to his people means that the Bible is not the word of God. Its time to shut down the Synagogues, Christian Churches, and Islamic Mosques. Perhaps Marx and Engle were right: "Religion is the opiate of the people." Perhaps Darwin is right, man is a descendant of the apes. Perhaps the Anthropologists are right: "Man has made his gods in his own image." Click on my name (by my photo) for my KZbin videos on the Bible as recast Mesopotamian and Canaanite myth, or visit my website www.bibleorigins.net for more in-depth research (My web site has had over two million accesses since the year 2000). Metzger and May sum up Haggai: "...the new temple was completed in the spring of 515 BC...Haggai...exorted Zerb'babel... to assume official leadership in the reconstruction of the temple...Haggai saw them also as necessary preparations for the messianic age. Upon the completion of these enterprises the wonderful era forseen by earlier prophets would come; for God would bless his people with fruitfulness and prosperity, overthrow the gentiles and establish Zerub'babel as the messianic king on the throne of David." (p. 1145, Book of Haggai. The New Oxford Annotated Bible with Apocrypha. 1977). The author of Chronicles understands that Jeremiah's 70 year prophecy has been fulfilled by Cyrus of Persia (following his capture of Babylon) announcing the temple in Jerusalem is to be restored (2 Chron 36:20-23). Daniel, realizing that Jeremiah's 70 year prophecy had not been fulfilled, claimed "70 weeks of years" (Dan 9:1-2; 24-25) is what is meant, giving a total of 490 years. Subtract 490 from 587 BC Exile's beginning and the Messiah comes circa 97 BC instead of 517 BC (NOT circa 30/33 AD and the ministry of Jesus Christ). If Daniel's "going forth of the word to restore and build Jerusalem" and its Messiah/Prince (Dan 9:25) refers to the Cyrus of Persia edict (2 Chron 36:22-23) of 539 BC, subtract 490 and the Messiah appears circa 49 BC (not 30-33 AD and Jesus Christ's ministry). There were no crowned Davidic Messiahs for any of these dates: 539 BC, 515 BC, 97 BC, or 49 BC. Jesus (30-33 AD) was never given a crown, except of thorns, by his Roman tormentors. In 70 AD another Jew, Simon bar Kochba, claimed to be the Messiah and his Jewish revolt was put down after a few years and he was killed by the Romans.

Walter R. Mattfeld Walter, you are one of very few who has not stumbled at the stumbling block of Isaiah 666! Good on you for being wiser than most. Indeed Isaiah is the false prophet whose book was added by the Levitical preisthood to rebuke those who falsely come claiming to be the first test-tube baby ABBA calls Son of Man, but are not.

Messiah Will not come until All preachers of all religions and anti religion preachers put together in one big jail with one bathroom. Only those who learn to share that single bathroom peacefully, will be released. When all come out, Messiah will say:”They don’t need me anymore”
