one of my favorite parts of the 97 cinderella movie was the fact they just threw out genetics and cared more about talent. though it doesn't necessarily make sense genetically, we don't care because the three of them are extremely gifted performers. after all, we praise hamilton for doing this exact thing:)

OK, one thing I'm not understanding, is if Uma has a sister who is played by Daryl Renee and she's going to Merlin Academy, and Merlin academy is basically the place where the descendant's parents went when they were teenagers. How's this gonna play out like it doesn't make sense.

Tbh, I’m not a huge fan of descendants 4. I think it’s dumb. Red is a copy of Mal, and Chloe is a copy of Evie. I don’t know who is the right mimd would do this. I think it’s completely absurd. But, no one cares what I think, so not like my opinion will change anything. But, if I have low expectations of this movie, I hope the movie does better then I expect it to be, but NEVER better then the ogs, 1, 2, and 3.

Yes. Understandable completely. It’s just not the same, and plus, descendants doesn’t need another movie. The ending was absolutely great! And I felt like it was earned too. With the line in all the descendants movies saying “You didn’t think this was the end of the story, did you?” Not being in the third movie, meant the descendants movie series had its end in my opinion. So I just don’t find it necessary to make another one. Especially if it’s not going to have the main four in it! Which is basically what MADE the movies. And yes, I do agree with doing another one still after Cameron died. It just feels so wrong….
