I typically say, "So-called black." I'm definitely not black. I'm brown. Also, talking proper is deemed as talking white in the so-called black community. And you know it. Most proper speaking African Americans don't talk nasally or use "so-called white folks" verbiage, and many of us are still accused of trying to talk like so-called white people.
