I believe that they said that there's a chance that they will add it to the game in the future. While that doesn't happen (if it ever happens), I'm looking forward to the "weaponized pets" that this DLC will bring. I haven't played Stellaris in a while due to life reasons, but this DLC is reeeeeally making me come back!

Literal Chad. ^^ Waiting for the Grand Archive story pack anxiously. Story packs are my favorite.. Leviathans etc add so much to the game for me, making important planets and dig site and other lore story lines great. Ancient Relics, Distant stars etc are so much meat on top of the bones of the game. So can't wait for this! ❤

Adding new resolutions is great, but there should be a way to speed them up. There is quite a bit of resolution pile up now with no new ways to get them done any quicker. Very cool stuff so far tho

Can I use Cuthuloids ability to steal ships. To feed my salvager civic? So I can gain tech and resources? All the while not triggering a war? As long as the Cuthuloids are not with any other of our ships? It would be really fun if we can have Cuthuloids sneak in to other empires territory even with closed boarders. Kinda like stealth tech. 😁

I imagine you would at least need to be at war with your intended target (or having an aggressive first contact with them). All the same, I can see some great synergy potential with scavengers depending on how the ability works out in practice.

yay more fauna... would love more and more of them. looking forward to the expansion (already bought it with the season pass) but for the sake of my sanity, where ever it may have gone, can we either have better (longer?) name lists or the ability to mod them without breaking iron man mode??!? having 6 science ships, 2 end up with the same ship name, and 2 of my scientists end up with the same name way too often. (i do usually use toxoid 2 name list if that matters)

Hive minds with cordyceptic drones are going to have a field day with this expansion. Already loved reanimating defeated space fauna for a cheap early-game fleet (plus a leviathan or two later on), now soon I'll have more critters to use and can upgrade them to stay viable throughout the entire game. Yes please, can hardly wait!

I assume the void worms will leave planetary features on your worlds as they bomb them, would it be possible to have Fruitful partnership bombardment stance counter this voidworm planetary feature? So you can bombard your own world as an alternative, instead of dealing with the planetary crises of that world through an event? Or maybe that is an option you can choice for the crises of that world. So long as you have one of your fleets in orbit.

I'm hoping we'll get more espionage options involving fauna, such as being able to surreptitiously attract hostile fauna to certain systems or even release them there to harass other empires. Ever since the ability to consume suns was added from the Stellar Devourer triumph, I've been hoping for more unlockable espionage actions.

They're united in triplets. 3 worms form together which is needed for them to create larva.

They already did. Have you ever looked at the sector menu? 4 is the max distance (without mods) but you can make them as short as you want.

I also play on large galaxies, my last was modded to 1600. Steam has a workshop and simple variable changes like this are easily done if you find what file they are in following wiki advice. Usually in the defines or script files.
