1 foot in the grave now
@alvexok5523
@alvexok5523 Ай бұрын
@@blackcaesar3624 I'm 49 now and I'm not even sure if I have 1 foot in the grave or not. I had this chest pain several days ago which felt like it may be my heart, and I know that guys younger than me have dropped from heart attacks. Also, and even though I take blood pressure medication now, I was diagnosed in my early 30s with blood pressure readings of 170/120. It went down once I got on my bp meds. But since then, there have been times when I ran out of the meds and couldn't afford to get refills for as long as several days to a week and my readings got back to as high as 160/115 by the time it'd been 6 or 7 days since my last pill. My point is that after all of that, my blood vessels could be damaged enough to where in my early 50s I could drop from a burst blood vessel in my head, like what happened to Luke Perry at age 52. And the chest pain I had could've been an aortic dissertation close to happening, which is what killed John Ritter at age 53. I've been to the doctor, but I haven't gotten all of the tests done yet to check on these things, so at the moment, for the reasons mentioned above, I feel like I still may get a Luke Perry or John Ritter happen to me sometime between now and when I'm 53 (which is within the next 4 years). I won't know more on all of this until I get these tests done and the results. Anyway, that's my long answer on why there's a chance I may already have 1 foot in the grave.

And you could really feel each character .You can feel Kevin's pain , Pamela's concern ,Pam's father concern where he was and where he was coming from. It was just like what you would go through in real life no matter if you were very poor and had to meet the parents or very rich and had to meet the parents.

@@nsasupporter7557 who would want to laugh when Susan dies from poison envelopes in Seifeld? I mean, what a horrible way to die considering that she is a good person and she actually loves George, just a few weeks before their wedding. And this show is widely regarded as the best comedy show of all time, while this story line is one of the most memorable ones from Seinfeld. Comedy is not just about stupid goofy plots when character are doing stupid things. To make it funnier, there should be a level of humanity and realism into it. Meet the Parents is one of those few comedy movies which nailed it. I sympathize with Greg's character because he has a multi-layer personality, so I root for him. I cannot laugh from a stupid comedy if I don't have a connection to the main characters. The director for the original 1992 version said himself that sympathizing with Greg's weaknesses is the main key for this movie to interest the audience and quiet frankly I agree.
@nsasupporter7557
@nsasupporter7557 Жыл бұрын
@@2012thefreshprince yes, I completely agree that comedy isn’t just “stupid.” Which is why I dislike adam sandler so much, his comedy is beyond retarded and the very plots of his movies are pathetic in themselves ontop of his movies already always being so predictable, he constantly has the same people in his movies (which is also pathetic once you think about it) and they always steal the show from him, he always gets angry and starts beating everybody up, that voice that he always does is lame and annoying. Adam sandler is the biggest loser to ever make it in Hollywood. But the thing about Ben Stiller is that he’s just “weak” so to speak, the situations and plots of his movies may be “realistic” like you said but that doesn’t make them funny. He doesn’t really ever do anything in his movies except get into those situations. His only semi decent movie was “There’s Something About Mary” even though it was the same concept of Meet the Parents, it wasn’t him that made the movie funny it was the supporting cast like Matt Dillion and Lee Evans that made it funny. But we just agree to disagree 👍
