This interview begs the question, why would Kamala Harris or Tim Walz ever sit down with the press when they are doing the job for them. Inflation rate right now in the US is 2.9 percent. Yes it was much higher a year or so back just as it was in every developed country on earth that pumped liquidity into the system to stimulate the economy post COVID. Its hardly unique to America and more fundamentally it worked. The inflation comes from increases in wages as full employment results in more competition. The stock market has literally doubled since the lows of the pandemic. I don't think economics is his strong suit. On illegal immigration the Trump talking point - and demonstrable falsehood - is that "crime is through the roof" It's not, that's a lie and I encourage anyone here to Google the stats to establish which of us is telling the truth. If you do you'll find that crime, particularly violent crime is WAY down under Biden v Trump presidency

Yeah, JD made a good point about "border crossings being lower now with executive action from Biden/Harris". Technically that is true, because the executive action requires people seeking asylum to use their new "DHS app" to make an appointment for asylum at a port of entry. The purpose was is this very reason, to be able to claim fewer illegal border crossings. The reality is the number of people coming into the country illegally is still same relative to previous summer numbers, but how they shuffle them to minimize affect of the "bad numbers" is reduced. Democrats know this issue is a loser for them, so any methods to manipulate the numbers is their only play.

The Republican position that the abortion issues should be resolved by the "States" individually is a red herring, which no-one in the media is addressing realistically. With the clear divisions amongst States the issue will fall right into the lap of the same US Supreme who banned abortion and when it is put upon them to resolve this nationwide conflict amongst the "States" {Circuits, etc.} do you really believe they're going to reverse themselves??
