I’ve never been so excited for a season… mainly because we have a Taiwanese queen this season ❤ Born and raised in Taiwan, drag is still very new to the general public, me being a gen z’er but not a lot of my friends know about drag culture. I always try to explain to them by referencing to a Taiwanese tv show host “fruit nana”, a quirky old lady with a colorful dress and a wig, played by a man, that hosts a fun children’s show in the early 2000s. Then they get it and agree that it’s fun and DEFINITELY for all ages to enjoy. Fast forward to now… we have Nymphia, the banana Buddha! (What is it with Taiwanese and our love for fruit references) it’s a full circle! So excited ✨🍌
