The way I think about it is the parents were too lazy or didn’t care enough about they’re kids to not get them out of the ghetto so that the government can pay they’re rent and give them foodstamps. I grew up poor as hell but my mom and grandma never got government assistance cause they were too proud. One thing about this story jumps out at me immediately. Sometimes, good people do bad things to survive. That is not a justification or an excuse for crimes committed, just an observation. When I was growing up and doing stupid shit, there were certain OG's, not even related to me, that been through the whole nine yards as far as crime and incarceration. They would pull me to the side and advise me against my actions at that time. They had no obligation to do so but they saw something in me that compelled them to do so. Evil people don't do that. This man encouraged his offspring to do evil. Therein lies the difference between bad and just plain evil.
