Lucky to have born to rich parents in a good locality. Money spent on good upbringing... Everything else is hardwork. For the rest of the folk. Everyone who reaches upto this level does very hard hardwork. Rest is luck. Humare jaise kuch hote hai remote areas se.. na accha education ka pasia tha.. nahi kahi se exposure mila...na utna motivated hoke padhai kia kyu ki pata hi nhi hota tha padhke karna kya hai. So they paid $50k for 1yr tuition fee, considering the whole degree, it would take $200k for 4yr degree and that's only tuition, dorms+living cost etc{fee=$300k} 😅😅, it's too much for someone in Middle/Upper Middle Class, damn that's like 2.2Cr, and avg package for CSE in UMD is $50K, so it would take around 6yrs to come outta that much fee "IF ALL GOES WELL"(acceptance rate is 30-40% 🤷, IITs have 0.7-1% 😅)

avg 50k nahi hai bro around 70-80k$ hai and ye to carrer ke starting ki salary hai 2-3 saal mein badh jaayegi plus yearly bonuses bhi hote hai. And bhai 2 crore rs dere hai inke ghar waale tumko kya lagta hai unko paiso ki tension hogi? Mere cousin gaye hue hai usa, ye ameero ko bacche hote hai inke ghar waale crores mein kamate hai. Mein bhi jaa rha tha, but mera BITS PILANI mein hogya, to bahar ni gya.

all of them are from privileged backgrounds. they have studied in high schools where the academics are focused around getting admits abroad.

@@RishabhSingh-qi6fr I was too focused on that, I used to live in a small town well just example of it being small is, there are no tech companies in whole district and surrounding districts, I've never been to a city when I was a school student, except for giving IELTS I went to Delhi, you know 14k rupees were like snatching a limb for a single exam, travel cost was another hassle, well somehow, I got into my dream university, well I would give all the credit to winning national science fair and NESA qualifying. But these were hassle too as they costed a fortune . Luckily I am on full ride scholarship so all good.
