Spartan I don’t think the flint has any radar, since it replaces it with smoke. It also does not have a catapult, so it can’t have a plane.

Spartan, great video and thanks for sharing. Not sure if you saw this months community managers stream? When they got to the French DDs, they recommended Louis Violette to maximize the gunboat experience. After tinkering with this commander, I use the following build: Violette, Lvl14 L2 Inspirations: Bey Lvl16 L2, Sims Lvl14 L2 Your maximum hull points go up to over 20K! I have a 5.7 km concealment, but with Go All Out chosen, when I activate engine boast, it takes it down to a whopping 4.56 km detectability. I also run Quick Fix, Stand or Fall, and Sidestep. Reload time of main batteries drops to 5 sec as well. I appreciate all you do and keep up the amazing work.

It's nice to see that build on the French DD's. Pretty much everyone else goes the other direction and uses the gunboat commander. Looks like it's a not quite Le Terrible, which is ok. Really looking forward to the full release when we can get our hands on the tier 7.

The Flint isn’t a radar cruiser. It has smoke instead although Radar is far more useful.

@@johnnobloke3419 Haha of course! I caught a bunch of Blue Gills or Sun Fish depending on where you're from. Dad ended up catching a nice little Largemouth Bass probably about 2lbs it was a nice one We released everything back. So didn't keep anything to fry up. All in all was a nice time!

I run mine the same way, albeit my concealment is 5.2 as I have Swirski at 16/3. Le Terrible is 5.3 with same commander.

@@SpartanElite43 Thanks for this enjoyable overview of Vauquelin ! -- Just wanted to mention that the Le Fantasque (Tier-7) is probably going to be a sleeper-hit, so to speak, Spartan -- as it has STOCK 75-Knot torpedoes that hit for 18,000+ and go 8-km ! For context, remember the dreaded Yudachi's that have been terrorizing BB's and Tier-7 games since they came in, have their "Screamer" super-fast torps going 80-knots...but they get their range slashed from 10-km to 7.0 km when you run that mod on them.. With the Le Fantasque, you'll be able to boost the speed +4 Knots using the various Torp Boosting skills of the French DD Commanders, meaning you'll have 79-knot "French Screamers" - so to speak - with that interesting torp arrangement (3 on each side and one more set of 3 in the mid, and they'll still go 8-km or more) ! Not only that, but as you show you can easily get your Concealment quite low, such that even a Japanese DD with full stealth setup will only out-spot you by 0.5 km or less, and when you DO see them, you'll crush them with the superior French cannons and the Reload Boosters ! Le Fantasque should, indeed, be rather Fantastic ! :-)

Btw i dont know if its the same on console version but on pc version french destroyers have a gimmick that makes their parts saturate faster. If you always bow tank other destroyers you can pretty much win every 1v1

You gotta make a habit of going to half speed through every turn every ship. You get a much greater edge on everyone else doing that consistently.

Marsel Dagistani i would love to have the t-61, my birthday is coming up I might buy it for myself as a birthday present! As for what I’d like, honestly it changes depending on what I feel like doing, my favourite dds are the British, because I love the versatility that the short duration smoke screens give you. When it comes to cruisers I like anything that has a good fire rate and can kite away well cos that’s my preferred cruiser play style. With battleships I like to be able to hit things, so two faves of mine are the Arizona and the Alabama. Warspite is a good one too. In short not any one thing cos I like to play everything!
