I wanted to start a business doing this bit then got busy with family. Hiring a bridesmaid would sometimes be better with dealing with friends or sisters as bridesmaids.

I read about this. As if weddings weren't already fickle enough. The desperate women that have to have perfect weddings don't realise nobody else cares about their wedding, and actually the less it is about the bride the better tbh, I hate this idea that the bride has to be centre of attention. So fake. Anyone that has to rent a bridesmaid will 100 percent be getting a divorce within the first five years.

But the bride said that she wanted to hire her because she didn't want to place any of the traditional "bridesmaid" pressure on her friends. When the hired bridesmaid said "but it's your day", her response was to argue that and say that she wanted *everyone* to have a good time, not just her. So doesn't that make her the polar opposite of what you're suggesting? Because she doesn't want it all about her and is prepared to hire someone to take the pressure off her friends and family, to ensure that they have a great day, too.

There's nothing wrong with wanting a drama free wedding. The groom might have 5 great friends as groomsmen and maybe the bride only has 2 good friends that would make good bridesmaids but then the photos would look uneven. I let my sister be a bridesmaid and she made it all about HER, changed out of her bridesmaid dress into something else and ruined my photos. I had to get them photos hopped to make her dress look red to match my other bridesmaids (I only had 3).
