We could’ve gotten this in Epcot but some guy made a mistake when designing the second floor of the building

This was my favourite attraction at Tokyo Disney Land until they shut it down cause it talked about the history of Japan in English for Japanese Americans living abroad. I miss this attraction and was glad i got to see it before the closing. They should bring it back to life somewhere in Tokyo city as it would be great for tourists.

That's not the reason it was shut down at Tokyo Disneyland. It was the least popular attraction and taking up valuable space near the Park entrance.

The attraction dialogue was completely in Japanese save for the Black Ship scene. English could be heard via a headset at each seat. In general, Japanese guests didn't care for this attraction. It didn't make history anymore interesting for young people, and it wasn't appealing enough to older folks. Even though it was a free ticket attraction, the theater was always more then half empty. Most guests would use the place to cool down in summer, warm up in winter or take a 10-minute nap. Personally, I loved the show and saw it as many times as I could from 1995, my first visit, to when it closed. I was there on the final day of performances in 2002.

It's sad we never got this in Epcot even though it was clearly made for it
