It's interesting that there are different explanations about Tengu. From what I heard, Tengu is considered to be one of the deities. One yamabushi had such super power so he became a Tengu (Akiba Daigongen or Akiba Sanjaku-bo). This Tengu is a good Tengu that helps people.😊
