Hey I'm Michalina from Poland. I watched your snap and as a Bob Marley fan I decided to messeage you! Music is with me everyday, I could not live without music. I play the drums and I really enjoy it. Music was with me even when I was a small child. My mum was playing great music, while driving a car or in the house. My uncle was such a talented guitarist. I love reggae music the most, It makes me feel alright. Sometimes I'm really stressed and nervous, but listening to my favourite songs helps me, I can just chill out and don't think about all the bad things that happend. When I'm happy or sad I always want to listen to Bob Marley's songs. World looks better for me when I listen to them. Peace Love Music. :)

*Trying to get this to top comment before Louis leaves Jamaica!* I never usually comment on your videos, but since you're in my home country, Jamaica (which I've been waiting literally years for you to go to), I thought I'd give you some tourist ideas. 1. Definitely 10000000000000000% Dunns. Rivers. Falls. You will not regret it, and everything and anything to do with Ocho Rios. There's also ziplining on the mountain! 2. Port Royal, there was a huge earthquake in Jamaica and this city was literally swallowed by the earth and underwater, it's an amazing sight to see. 3. Caves, caves, caves! Jamaica has so many caves and they're really long and interesting, and usually right on the beach! 4. The countryside, you've never seen anything like it, trust me, however I'd recommend getting a local to drive you there because the roads are VERY VERY dangerous. 5. Blue Lagoon!!!!!!!! Not much else to say, but it's blue and it's a lagoon so it's for you! :) 6. I know you love history, so Emancipation Park and a night at Devon's House will be perfect for you, also if you have time, the Spanish Town Historical District. 7. Someone else already mentioned Bob Marley's House and right next to his house is the Jamaica House, where the prime minister resides 8. If you are up for a road trip, which I'm sure you are, it's a 3 hour drive to Montego Bay, where you can experience even more elaborate and picturesque beaches, you're literally IN paradise! 9. Negril, even more beaches, and the iconic cliff diving location. 10. Kindah Tree, one of it's kind, type of tree. Very interesting and fantasy looking! 11. Doctor's Cave Beach for scuba diving! 12. White Witch of Rose Hall, if you want a deadly scare... 13. Blue Mountains, very scenic, lush, again nothing else like it, and I believe they have hiking! 14. On your way to Ocho, you should be driving through the Gully, which is this canyon where the road is filled from the bottom to top with lush greenery! 15. BLUE HOLES MOUNTAIN SPRINGS! It's a spring with a cavern with a hole, and then a waterfall trickling down, very very very beautiful! I hope you guys get to read this before it's too late, also please please stay safe. Always be aware of your surroundings because certain areas of Jamaica, especially Kingston (which isn't the most Tourist Friendly) can be sketchy. Also, do not, I repeat do not, fall for any type of scams, and be warned that because you are a tourist, and one with an accent at that, you might be upcharged on certain attractions or in some cases scammed (cough, Dolphin Cove, cough). Lastly, have fun, Jamaica is a blast! Big up! P.S. It's sad that you're on a vegan diet because our culture is very meat-heavy and the best plates in the country contain meat. However, I think you should be able to eat our national dish, Ackee (without the Saltfish) and Dumplings, Banana, and Potato. Ackee is a fruit that grows on our trees and it kinda resembles scrambled eggs, it's really good!

+brandinosurr I don't think it's sad to be a vegan in Jamaica at all. Bob Marley was a Rastafarian and many Rastafari maintain a vegan or vegetarian diet and Bob Marley was rumoured to be a vegetarian: www.ivu.org/people/music/marley.html *"From the beginning, Rasta people have always lived a vegetarian lifestyle, meaning anything that moves is not supposed to be eaten,"* said Larry Dawson, a Jamaican-born Rastafarian and owner of Health Conscious, a primarily vegetarian food center in Laurelton. I got this from another site: *"Because of his Rastafarian beliefs, Bob Marley kept to an Ital diet. Ital is based on the same ancient dietary laws that kosher and halal diets are based on, but Ital is somewhat more open to interpretation by the Rastafarian than either of the aforementioned diets would be to the Jew or Muslim, respectively. Marley's interpretation made him a vegetarian."* worldmusic.about.com/od/genres/tp/Bob-Marley-Trivia.htm Ital Statistics: Eating Like Bob Marley www.smithsonianmag.com/arts-culture/ital-statistics-eating-like-bob-marley-28613641/ But some other sites said that he ate some meat and fish time to time. As far as my research goes he clearly mostly ate vegan foods: Gilly was Bob Marley's personal chef: *"At every stop on a concert tour, Gilly would create a postshow feast with huge pots of rice and “peas” (kidney beans simmered in coconut milk and thyme) and fried plantains. He would ladle onto the rice an ital stew, often made with such vegetables as cauliflower, carrots, potatoes, cabbage, brown gungo peas and butter beans, cooked in coconut milk with garlic and thyme. Gilly would also squeeze fresh juices and mix drinks like limeade, ginger beer and Irish Moss (a particular favorite of Bob’s), a thick, clotted drink made with seaweed, condensed milk and cinnamon, which has a reputation as an aphrodisiac."* What I know to be true is that Bob Marley's son and five-time Grammy winning reggae star Ziggy Marley is a vegetarian: www.peta2.com/heroes/ziggy-marley/ This is a quote from him: *"The more red meat and blood we eat, the more bloodthirsty we get, the more violent we get. The more vegetarian food we eat, the more peace is taken into us."* - Ziggy Marley www.azquotes.com/quote/757680 And another quote from him: *"When my children came into my life, I realized how important it is to eat well - not just for them, but for me too. After all, I'm not doing them any favors by taking chances with my own health. Food can be powerful medicine, and the best prescription is to eat more low-fat vegetarian meals. The more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains you eat, the more your body will thank you. For tasty way to help prevent illness, try some veg fried rice, Jamaican jerked tofu with vegetables, or pasta marinara."* - Ziggy Maryley cdn23.us3.fansshare.com/photos/ziggymarley/ziggy-marley-vegetarian-peta-ad-1863009614.jpg Also when he was asked what was his special dish he said this: *"You know what’s my signature dish now? It’s oatmeal. I add flax seeds, golden berries, walnuts, and fruits-bananas and blueberries. My family likes it because I make it kind of special."* www.vegetariantimes.com/blog/one-on-one-with-ziggy-marley/ Another thing is that Bob Marley's other son Rohan Marley (who Louis interviewed on his video above) said that he is a vegan on a youtube video titled "Rohan Marley on The Elegant Vegan". I think being vegan is really easy and simple! When you slowly introduce more fruits (including dried fruits and frozen fruits), vegetables, starches (rice, potatoes, yams, pasta, noodles, quinoa, bulgur, corn, barley, millet, wheat, buckwheat, bread, tortilla, bagel, waffle, cereal, oats, groats, rye), legumes (lentils, peas, beans, chickpeas, peanuts, tofu, tempeh, soy), sprouts, grains, nuts and seeds into your diet, you will realize how actually easy it is to be a vegan. You can be leaner, healthier and live longer by eating this way as well. The longest living people in the world are Seventh-Day Adventists in California and they don't eat any kind of meat at all. Watch the video on youtube titled "The Okinawa Diet: Living to 100" by the medical doctor Michael Greger for more information on this. Don't forget that everything you eat today has a vegan version and you can have the same texture, smell and taste of the foods that you are eating by simply replacing them with the vegan substitutes of those foods. For example, instead of buying cow's milk which was meant for a calf, you can buy almond milk, soy milk, oat milk, coconut milk, hazelnut milk, rice milk, flax milk, quinoa milk, cashew milk, sunflower seed milk, hemp milk, pistachio milk and pecan milk all of which were designed for human consumption unlike cow's milk. They also come with all kinds of flavors like vanilla, chocolate etc. and believe me when I say you will love at least some of these plant-based milks more than cow's milk. As you can see there are a lot of plant based milk substitutes and there are also a lot of vegan ice cream, yogurt, cheese, egg and meat substitutes are out there and most big groceries and even some small groceries now carries them. Some of these substitutes even taste better than the thing that they are trying to imitate and I've shared the best ones in the link below: docs.google.com/document/d/1lVvc80_n7SwnoMOo-a505yGVMqs54eEynZ-wOm__XfQ/edit?usp=sharing I believe anybody who watches the documentaries Forks over Knives (health), Cowspiracy (envirenment) and Earthlings (ethics) would eventually go vegan. And if anybody wonders why I became a vegan I explained everything on the facebook note below: facebook.com/notes/berkay-tamer/why-vegan/843429495715758 Peace!

MUSIC is powerful, it changes my mood instantly and I often just zone out and relax. Music also reminds of certain memories and I link different memories with a certain song and making music is even better as its a way of expressing yourself in a variety of different ways. so in conclusion music = calming, a sense of nostalgia and a platform of expression 😊

Music for me completely changed my life. And I wouldn't be here today without it, for sure. Music to me is like a whole new language! Depending on your mood depends on the song. Fair to say I've been through a few rough patches in my life for only being 15, one of the examples being my father going to prison, it was a hard time! When I hit my teenage years I lost the plot a little bit, doing things I shouldn't do and I am ashamed of them, but music calmed me down! It locks you away when you need it. Music for me also bring people together, I wouldn't have half the friends I have today if I didn't study music at school. Or when you're at a party and a song comes on and you can all dance and sing a long... Music is an art, and you don't have to be good at it to be an amazing artist. There are so many styles nowadays anyone can play music. And I think that is bloomin amazing. @dreadedbanter

music is so important not only for me but to my family. in my case I started as occupational therapy after having to be isolated from society because of serious psychological issues, studying piano helped me to learn how to concentrate and redirect my frustration. and singing classes is a great exercise to learn the way of breathing to calm down during panic attacks . and nowadays helps my autistic nephew who finds in the music a way to keep a certain level of life in society, and he's struggling a lot less with panic attacks since he started studying it. You can't spend a day in my house without listen to music!!!

Music has always made such a huge impact in my life. My family is very musical and we can't go a single family party without busting out the guitar. I have a very large family and our family has kind of started to dwindle with divorces and family starting college, but somehow we can still come back together when someone starts to play a song. MUSIC IS LOVE AND LOVE IS MUSIC! Music to me is something that has always been in my soul and projected of my aura! I started singing when I was very young and was actually inspired to pick up the guitar after first getting into reggae music of course which was led by the legend Bob Marley!.. I still sing today and write my own songs but I have always held back due to fear, which I am not conquering with small steps! At the age of 20 I am now working for an music events company but my true passion lies with singing and creating music but there is no way I could do a day job that wasn't somehow linked to music - like I said its in my soul! I am also currently setting up my own entertainment agency based on a ethos of honest and authenticity for artists to get across their craft in they way they want it! The beautiful thing about music and technology is that is available everywhere, no matter how old you are and what music you like there is a whole world of web which means you can go back and discover as much as you like! I also met my love, my boyfriend (a musician also) at music collge! I would love a pair of Marley headphones and Jamaica is the top of my bucket list!! ONE LOVE!!!!!! I listen to music while studying because it always helps me concentrate better by breaking the silence. Please Louis give me a pair of those headphones I have been watching your videos since the begging, In fact my entire family now watches them together after dinner! Getting these headphones from an idol like you would mean the world to me

To me music helps me simmer down, that is a reference to one of my favorite songs of Bob Marley. As an architect student, I have learned that inspiration comes from all around, from videos you post up to music men and women compose. Music is a powerful ear candy, and does so much to me as a student.

Music is the best outlet to help me deal with my feelings and emotions. Whether I'm happy, sad, angry, worried or scared music has been there for me. happened. My grandmother passed away at the beginning of the year, I still miss her heaps. I have been using music to deal with my grief and loss. I use music to associate memories i never want to forget about my grandmother.

Music changes your life. It instantly changes your mood and at least 10 minutes of music/singing a day relieves stress. I absolutely love music. It's a universal language and just over all great. One love yall ✌🏽

Music. The simple but yet complex thing that puts a smile on my face every single day. Music calms my nerves and lessens the stress that constantly sits heavily in the pit of my stomach and tugs at my chest. Music makes me fight the urge to break out in a huge random grin in the middle of a class. Music makes me feel like my heart is exploding with happiness and fluffy fangirl-feelings. Music keeps me down, keeps me up, keeps my in the right place. Music changes everything.

Music for me helps me in so many occasions. When I'm feeling anxious it helps me take my mind of whatever I'm thinking or feeling anxious about & it can cheer me up when I'm feeling down or it can even help me focus when I'm in college. I hope you had a lovely time in Jamaica - I went there in 2011 and climbed duns driver falls as well and went swimming with dolphins plus going on a rubber dinghy own a river and a tour of the old villages and churches - love you lots

Hello Louis Cole! I'm following you on Snapchat, and I just saw the video you posted on your story, and I got eager to tell you what great of an impact music has on my life. First of all, just to put it out there, I listen to a lot of different music genres. Everything from soul, jazz, blues to reggaeton, dancehall, r&b and pop, depending on what state of mind I'm in, and how I want to feel. Music allows me to cope with everyday things! In times of sadness, stress or frustration, I tend to listen to music that helps me reduce my stress, motivates me and makes me feel relaxed and at peace. Other times, when I find myself wondering about every aspect of life, I tend to listen to music with more substance or meaning to it. Often, I analyse lyrics and try to put the context in use in my life. And of course, being 20, there are times where I just want to dance, laugh and feel happy, in which music has a lot to say in too. So basically, before this becomes an essay, I just want to say that music plays an important role in my life. It helps me cope with things, and motivates me as well. In addition, it also connects people from around the world, where as, for example, language might fail. It's much easier to recognize (let's say) Psy's "Gangnam Style" and laugh about that, than talking about politics with someone whom you've just met, right? This was all over the place, lol! Btw, I started watching your vlogs this year, and I haven't stopped watching them. You're truly an amazing guy! Keep on doing what you do! Twitter: abdulhir

House of Marley are a fantastic brand - they've helped youth music charities I work with in my community. You wont hear them brag about it but they do a lot. much respect for rohan and what he's accomplished.

Music for me is an escape, when I was younger I had no friends in school and was bullied and laughed at and music helped me escape from this and let me express myself it helped me gain confidence to not care what people think of me!

Considering the values that Bob Marley upheld while he was alive and even now through his music. The 'House of Marley' brand would fit perfectly with your ideals as well Louis. The first things that come to mind when the name Bob Marley is uttered, is peace, love and freedom, the very elements that are manifested in your approach towards "living the adventure".

Music is not just something you listen to, music for me is something you are. The way you interact with people, the way you think about the world. Music has been a huge part of my life, for me music is remembering, remembering people that is far away from you. I am studying abroad, considerably far from home. Music helps me feel close to my family, makes me remember fun moment I spent with them. Music makes me feel like I am still with my best friend, going to bar where he plays, supporting him. Music is important for me because it reminds me who I am, where I come from, what I have learnt and what I want to do.

I don't have a Twitter account, but what music does for me is calming. It allows me to focus on the words of a song that really sticks with me depending on the stresses of my day, the stress kind of just melts away and after some time just focusing on the music I usually feel more confident in myself and more focused on what I need to continue doing that day in order to live life to the fullest and succeed at whatever small goal is set. Love your videos!
