I grew up in the hunter jumper world and we were so ingrained with helmets we’d wear them 8 hours a day just so we wouldn’t have to redo our hair, I was shocked to learn when I was older that it wasn’t western thing. FALLON! You should compete at the Quarter Horse Congress in Columbus, Ohio! My mom and I are planning to take a day off to shop, watch people ride, and just have a good time. We usually just go there to get stuff for shows and we're only there to shop. My mom and I have always wanted to spend a while day there. It's would mean the world me If you could be there! Hi Fallon! I too have neck injury issues, but cannot imagine giving up riding. What do you do to protect your neck from re-injury? Thanks in advance for any advice! Same I had a mild concussion after falling off a horse and got sent on my face and slid 3 metres on dirt got a 3 inch splinter and broke my wrist saved my neck from breaking probably

@@eden05yt8 gosh urs was way worse then mine! I was barrel racing and my horse spooked after we hit the first barrel. He jackknifed and I fell onto the ground onto my shoulder/neck. After standing up and taking a few steps I passed out for a few minutes. I got checked out the hospital but I was fine, got away with a really badly sprained wrist

I want your opinion in this plzzzzzzzz.... I am an intermediate in Eventing and use to be in Berrel racing. My old barrel instructor told me the reason why I'm Over weight is because I don't ride western an that English isn't a sport.. J get up every morning and do an hour of yoga I'm am not over weighbecause of my yoga and soccer. But I was trampled my old horse Pixelation it was an accident but I have never sat in an Western saddle shut do I tell my instructor that she is being disrespectful but get my point across
