Bonjour Ann. very nice views of your village. I don't know how those houses survive the noise of the river, but they saw what they were buying. Isn't it so nice to buy and be able to return, Shein is not the only one that has that service, there are others too. In our modern days the supermarkets have everything so specialty stores like: Liquorstore, Boucherie, Boulangerie, Epicerie etc.. tend to disappear, but luckily here in France there are still a lot of those little specialty stores; makes villages cozier, don't you think? I'm not catholic, but I like the styles of architecture of the buildings of churches, cathedrals and basiliques, very interesting and unique.
