Would be great to associate a Loop recurring meeting with a shared Plan / task list from Planner. We ended up pasting a link to that Planner plan into the recurring Loop agenda, and that is how we go through our Issues List / resolve past issues during the meeting. When we click "Meeting Notes" in Teams - why does it show only a week worth at a time? Would be so much better to show all meetings in reverse chronological order by default, and then let the user jump to a certain week as needed...

For reoccurring meetings is it possible to set different agendas ? Great that the notes work but reoccurring meetings may not have a standing agenda ie itll have different items each week.. is that supported?

I use Loop for everything. I am excited about the recurring meeting function and look forward to trying it out this week. My main issue with Loops is tasks. If I use the task table, it limits the information I can add. If I use a normal table, the information does not show up on people's todo list. I am looking for a simple way to track all tasks from recurring meetings, that add the tasks to people's todo list. Even without this feature, I am thrilled to be using Loop.

Sadly, the limitation of the Task Table is based on Microsoft Planner, as it will not allow additional fields as it's creating a Planner Task List when you add in the table, which means we cannot add the additional information, but you could open the Plan in Planner directly, and add comments - it just won't appear in Loop. The other Loop Tables have more information you can add in, but sadly they won't integrate with Microsoft To Do or Planner, as they are not based on Microsoft Planner - the only thing you could consider is tagging the Task Owner, but sadly there's no automated reminders etc. I hope that helps 😀

What about recurring meetings? The checklist Agenda items being striked out or completed...Do they reset for next meeting? Also, what if we have Copilot. Can Copilot embed the meeting notes automatically and add the actions/tasks as well?

Dont you think it is a problem that the meeting notes will disappear when the person who has them stored in their onedrive leaves the company?

I think this is a real issue and so far a dealbreaker for me to recommend using the meeting notes, unfortunately.

Can the loop meeting note template be customized? We would like to remove the follow-up task section and replace it with a Plan from planner.

Is there a tagging option for meeting notes ? When we are after few months and many meeting notes, it could be difficult to find the correct one quite fast...

Is there a way to easily insert or embed an attendance list of sorts in these notes, short of manually typing it up or downloading the attendance list and copying and pasting?
@your365coachАй бұрын
I took a little time to consider this one, but I think it's tricky, as the Attendees are shown in the Teams Meeting Tab following the meeting, which you can download to Excel and the copy and paste - but there's no option in Loop to add this in. I'll raise it onward to the Loop Product Team, as maybe it's one they could consider in the future 😀

Thanks for the video. What’s you recommended way to create personal meeting notes, notes that not all participants should see. I am currently using a separate workspace for this.
@your365coach3 ай бұрын
I would agree that the best place, is a separate workspace to ensure they are captured away from the meeting, and no access is granted to others by default. I would also structure your workspace with a page named 'Meeting Notes' and then you can drag and drop the Meeting Notes you have, under that, to create a section of them all.

Big issue between all of the MS apps. When a task is assigned a person in MS Lists, it doesn't show up in "to do". Anything that is assigned to me from anywhere in the MS universe should end up in that to do list.
@isaiahjberg3 ай бұрын
You have seen comments inside of a List object - might be a workaround. Shared Task Lists in Planner have this functionality linked into everyone’s To Do - we use this to assign tasks to one another. All of it integrates with Teams. This does mean it is a separate List in Planner from our Project Management list in Lists…annoying but not a deal breaker. “Show me the open tasks for this project / job / row in my list” is not as easy as it should be. I do wish that we could have a “Add Task” button within Lists, so that a task could automatically reference a particular job / row / object from Lists. And we could drill into a particular row and see the associated closed / open / in process To Do tasks.

@@isaiahjberg The work around is exactly what I'm talking about. Could be the best if it wasn't for the workarounds.
@isaiahjberg3 ай бұрын
@@quiptown8976 - agreed. Project / Planner *almost* has this with its Roadmap functionality, but it isn't useful except for viewing high-level details like a Gantt chart scheduling view. For us, we're copy/pasting the Job Name from Lists into the Task as its own column when the task is created in our shared task list to allow for more easy filtering. Project Managment using Lists requires two tabs open, one for Planner, and one for Lists that we can toggle between depending on what we're working on.

I do not have the feature when setting up a calendar invite.
@driver2883 ай бұрын
Hi! Another great video! I’m a huge fan of the Loop agrnda feature. I use it a lot but I’m so sad external sharing isn’t really working with them. If I get an external invite I have no access to meeting notes. Not even in the meeting. Is this going to change with the rollout of Loop 2.0 and enhanced Loop page and workspace sharing externally? Also another annoying thing is that no one else really care about Loop yet. And also who is supposed to do the note taking during meetings? I find that often the notes about to a few words or sentences only after a meeting and needn’t really amoutnto much except maybe follow up tasks. But they really sync poorly as it is now to planner. I often dish out tasks to myself and others and more times than not I get an email saying I have tasks to finish when I already ticked them off in planner in teams! Is that known problem?
@your365coach3 ай бұрын
Thanks for your kind feedback. I would sadly doubt that the Meeting Notes experiences will change soon, as it would require the external party to have access to the Loop Page automatically, and I think that will be tricky to configure - as normally external parties would not have access to the Loop page by default, but I guess we need to wait and see. The tasks in Planner should also sync to stop the reminders coming through - so if you are seeing reminders for old tasks, then I would certainly raise a ticket to Microsoft Support on that. In terms of the meeting notes themselves, I think this is a problem generally in meetings - the best way, is to nominate a meeting notetaker, who then fills in the minutes and tasks, as then there's clear responsibilities set in who is taking the minutes.

Is there a way to share a meeting series with someone? If you have a weekly or daily meeting, it is rather inconvenient having to set up sharing permission for each meeting. Also, would be nice to be able to share a Meeting series inside Teams, so people can easily access all meeting notes without having to leave Teams

I still prefer onenote for meeting-notes. -link-sharing with external partners is only possible when the system-admin allows this -the connection to the outlook-calender is missing -adding of files is easier with onenote from my opinion, the note taking in the meeting window and the dynamic task list is the only advantage of loop meeting. But without the calender connection it leads to chaos.

100% agree, it's a nightmare when people take the minutes on paper, and then need to write them for up an hour after the meeting - using Loop in Teams, we can take them in the meeting and share them immediately, in a place where everyone has access
