Talk about the Catholic Church, LGBT people and nuns. Marta Abramowicz is the author of the book, "The nuns leave quietly." The film has Polish subtitles.
Sister Jeannine Gramick is an American Catholic nun who conducts pastoral care for LGBT people in the United States. Father Krzysztof Niedaltowski is the rector of the church of Sts. John in Gdansk, pastor of creative circles. The film is was recorded on the meeting held on 29th November at the European Solidarity Center in Gdansk.
Sister Gramick, though nearly 70 years old, is full of energy. She believes that everyone should discover her talent and follow him. Her talent, as she thinks, is to tell people - especially those rejected and excluded that God loves them and refuses to reject them. Her teachings addressed to homosexuals, however, met with the condemnation of the Vatican. Sister came to Poland at the invitation of Campaign Against Homophobia, Faith and Rainbow and Tolerado.
In September of 2016 the same organizations have set up a social campaign "Let's give a sign of peace".
